He has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as structural design principles, bridge engineering, bridge structural reliability, bridge detection technology and professional English, and won honorary titles such as "excellent teacher" and "excellent party member".

In recent five years, he has presided over nearly 10 projects of National Natural Science Foundation, Hunan Natural Science Foundation and Ministry of Communications, participated in more than 10 scientific research projects, published more than 20 papers and published books 1 book (second author) (structural reliability theory and its application in bridge engineering).

In the past five years, * * * has won five national, provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological progress awards, including the second prize of national scientific and technological progress 1, the first prize of Hunan scientific and technological progress 1, the second prize, and the third prize 1.

While actively undertaking theoretical research on vertical scientific research projects, we also attach great importance to the transformation and application of research results in major engineering projects. In recent years, we have participated in a number of key scientific research projects, such as Yueyang Dongting Lake three-tower cable-stayed bridge (the world's largest span PC beam three-tower cable-stayed bridge), Sichuan Yibin Yangtze River Bridge (with a main span of 460 meters), Hunan Yueyang Linzikou Bridge, Hunan Xiangyin Xiangjiang Bridge, Hunan Changsha Huangbai Liuyang River Bridge and so on.
