Biography of Tu Youyou
Tu Youyou was born in February 1930. He was born in Ningbo, Zhejiang. Lifelong researcher of Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, director of artemisinin research center. For more than 50 years, she led the team to overcome difficulties and made Artemisia annua famous all over the world; 20 15 won the nobel prize in physiology or medicine; 20 17 won the highest national science and technology award of 2065438+06; 20 19 won the "* * * and National Medal".
On February 30th, 65438, in 2020, it was Tu Youyou's 90th birthday.
