The 12th International Salt Lake Conference, hosted by the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, hosted by the Institute of Mineral Resources of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences and hosted by the Key Laboratory of Salt Lake Resources and Environment of the Ministry of Land and Resources, was held in Langfang City, Hebei Province from July 14 to June 18, 1965. More than 300 representatives from 10 countries attended the meeting. Zhong Ziran, member of the party group of the Ministry of Land and Resources and director of China Geological Survey, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The theme of the conference is "future salt lake, global sustainable development research and development". After the meeting, the field geological investigation of Qinghai Salt Lake and Shanxi Yuncheng Salt Lake was organized.

(2) International Symposium on Ophiolite, Mantle Action and Related Deposits.

From April/4, 2065438 to April/0/5, 2065438, the International Symposium on Ophiolite, Mantle Action and Related Deposits sponsored by the State Key Laboratory of Continental Structure and Dynamics was held in Beijing. More than 20 internationally renowned experts were invited to give academic reports at the meeting. Yan wang, Deputy Secretary and Deputy Director of the Party Group of China Geological Survey, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

(3) The14th General Meeting of the International Association of Mineral Deposit Genesis.

Sponsored by the China Geological Survey and the International Association of Deposit Genesis, and hosted by the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, the Institute of Mineral Resources of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences and the Yunnan Geological Survey, the 14th General Meeting of the International Association of Deposit Genesis was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province from August 6 to August 22, 2004. More than 750 delegates from 18 countries attended the meeting. Yan wang, deputy director of China Geological Survey, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The theme of the conference is "Mineral Resources: Discovery and Utilization", including 19 hot topics in the field of global deposit research and mineral resources exploration and development, such as large-super large deposit mineralization, porphyry copper-gold deposit, skarn deposit, iron oxide-copper-gold (IOCG) deposit, Carlin gold deposit and rare metal deposit. The conference received 822 abstracts of academic papers. After the meeting, field geological surveys (8 routes) were organized in Yunnan, Guizhou, Shandong and Jiangxi provinces and Laos.
