References on the quotation of engineering bidding
From the perspective of investors and builders, taking municipal engineering as an example, this paper analyzes and introduces the deep-seated influence of unbalanced quotation on the total project cost control in the bidding process, and puts forward some concrete preventive countermeasures and control measures.

Keywords: unbalanced quotation; Municipal engineering; Bidding; Control measure

Concluding remarks

To sum up, unbalanced quotation is beneficial to construction enterprises, but it will lead owners and bidders to win the bid at a low price and settle accounts at a high price. Serious unbalanced quotation causes serious cost distortion, which will disturb the normal bidding work and is not conducive to the effective control of funds and project quality. It increases the risk of engineering construction, brings negative influence to the development of fair competition mechanism in the construction market, and is not conducive to the standardized development of the industry. By analyzing unbalanced quotation and adopting reasonable quotation evaluation methods and countermeasures, the interests of both bidders and bidders can be balanced, which will play a positive role in promoting engineering construction.
