August 8, 2008 is a long-awaited moment for Chinese people all over the world. The 29th Olympic Games will be held in Beijing, China, which is a grand event attracting worldwide attention. As contemporary college students, we have an obligation to welcome this grand event and let it be held in a stable and United environment. At present, some people in the West use despicable acts to intensify ethnic conflicts, arousing the great indignation of Chinese all over the world and the strong patriotic enthusiasm of the people of China. This patriotic enthusiasm is so precious that we must cherish it a hundred times. However, patriotic enthusiasm should be shown through appropriate actions, and the country must not suffer unexpected setbacks because of its own "patriotic actions."

We are still students, and the bounden duty of students is to learn. We should put patriotism on study.
