Frontier of Earth Sciences in China is one of the leading English academic journals in China. It is sponsored by the Ministry of Education, published by Higher Education Press and distributed overseas by German company springer. It was published online and in print, and began to be published from June 5 to1October 38, 2007. The editorial department of Frontier of Earth Science is located in the Key Laboratory of Geographic Information Science of the Ministry of Education of East China Normal University, with Professor Gao Wei, director of the laboratory, as the editor-in-chief. The fields involved include geology, physical geography, geochemistry, geophysics, geo-biology, geo-informatics, geo-technical science, climate remote sensing and so on.
