Keywords: interview with professional figures; Career planning courses; college student

Keywords: career interview; Career planning course; university

With the rapid increase in the number of college graduates and the increasingly severe forms of employment, the employment difficulty of college students is no longer a personal problem of college students, but has gradually evolved into a social problem, which has aroused great concern from society, schools, families and students. Faced with the difficulty of college students' employment, in 2007, the General Office of the Ministry of Education issued the Notice on the Teaching Requirements of Career Development and Employment Guidance Course for College Students, which clearly stated that the employment of college graduates should be taken as an important daily work, requiring all ordinary colleges and universities to offer career development and employment guidance courses from 2008 and incorporate them into the teaching plan as public courses to improve the employability of college students. Career planning of college students is an effective way to promote their success, which plays an important role in strengthening their knowledge exploration and promoting employment in colleges and universities. Interview with professional figures is an innovative method that is more and more commonly used in college students' career planning courses in recent years. It mainly allows college students to obtain "internal" information about an industry, occupation and unit by interviewing a certain number of professionals (usually the target occupation practitioners they are interested in).

First, the feasibility of interviewing professionals

(A) to break the traditional teaching methods

Interview with Professionals, a teaching mode, has broken the spoon-feeding teaching mode in the past, changed from the traditional teaching mode to the teaching mode combined with social practice, and introduced the teaching mode with "asking questions", "finding answers" and "reflecting questions" as the core, thus strengthening the pertinence, practicality and sociality of college students' career planning course. Practice teaching is an important part of talent training in colleges and universities. As a practical link in the course of college students' career planning, interview with people can make college students feel their career intuitively through personal experience and face-to-face communication, enhance the practicability of the course of college students' career planning in the process of interactive teaching, and deepen students' understanding of the interview profession.

(B) Effective channels to collect professional information

At present, teachers' lectures or collecting information online are the main channels for college students to understand their careers. Students do not output information, but mostly passively accept it, resulting in insufficient circulation information. Career interview is a kind of face-to-face interview between students and professionals, which can effectively help them to check and correct the information obtained before and understand the special problems or needs related to their future work, but these valuable information are difficult to obtain through other channels.

(C) to cultivate students' abilities in all aspects

Interview with professional figures can exercise students' comprehensive ability in all aspects. Weighing based on this method is more complicated. Students need to find ways to use various social resources to contact professionals who are willing to be interviewed, collect the information needed for the interview in advance through various channels, and formulate an interview outline. These are the preparation stages. After everything is ready, it is more important for students to make detailed records in the interview communication, and extract and summarize the information of the interview results after the interview. This whole process can be said to be an exercise for students' ability to obtain information, social skills, expression skills, logical thinking skills, generalization and reflection skills. Moreover, due to the limited interview resources, students often interview in groups, which can help students learn to communicate and cooperate in teams, enhance team cohesion, share experiences and bear results, and fully experience the atmosphere and characteristics of team learning.

Second, the main points of interview methods for professional figures

(A) guide students to explore themselves before the interview

The basic principle and theoretical basis of career planning education is "matching people with posts", and improving students' ability to "know yourself and know yourself" is an important purpose of the course. College students' career planning education advocates college students to find suitable jobs on the basis of self-awareness.

Interviewing business people is one of the ways to get to know each other. In order to truly realize job matching, knowing each other must be based on "bosom friends", so students' necessary self-exploration is the basis of successful interview. Only through in-depth self-exploration and self-analysis, can college students have a thorough and comprehensive understanding of themselves, be comfortable in the process of interviewing professional figures, prescribe the right medicine in communication, master and collect the career information they need, and make this method really play a realistic guiding role in students' career planning.

(B) a reasonable choice of professional figures

The choice of professional figures should have a reasonable structure, not only considering personal interests and professional relevance, but also considering the proportion of age and position. There must be both novices who have just entered the workplace and senior people who have worked for a certain number of years and achieved certain results. The latter is more important. Due to the limited social resources of students, it is easy to select some brothers and sisters of the same age as the interviewees. Although these interviewees can help students understand the confusion they may encounter as newcomers and the entry threshold of a certain profession, the information they provide can only be used as a reference because these people are still in the stage of adaptation and exploration in the workplace and their understanding of the profession may not be mature enough. Therefore, when selecting interview characters, priority should be given to outstanding people or experienced senior people in the industry. They have long working hours, more mature minds, more comprehensive professional knowledge, and more rational and objective suggestions and opinions.

The interviewee is determined. Before the formal interview, the teacher should guide the students to collect and understand the relevant information of professional figures through various channels. The collection of information can help students understand the interviewer, help the interaction in the interview process, and make professional people willing to disclose more useful career information during the interview. At the end of the interview, you can also ask the interviewee to recommend some other relevant professional figures to yourself, so that you can expand your professional cognition field and accumulate different social resources through the Internet.

(C) to be good at controlling the interview process

As an interviewer, it is very important to control the interview process in order to get the information you want. In practice, some students face a problem: the interviewees are very talkative and like to be interviewed according to their own ideas, and their experiences are often very rich and interesting. At this time, students either forget their own purpose, or they can't find the opportunity to cut to the chase. When interviewing, the most important thing is that students should be very clear about the purpose of interviewing professional people, and keep this purpose in mind when interviewing. Carefully list the interview outline in advance, and once the interviewee is found to be off topic, pull the interview back to the original track in time according to the outline. In the interview, due to the large amount of information, we should be good at grasping the main points and making records for later sorting.

Thirdly, the impact of career interview on college students' career development.

(A re-examine themselves and stimulate students' interest in active learning.

Before the interview, students need to re-recognize themselves, their hobbies, personalities and values. Because the interviewees are generally excellent people in career development, for college students who have strong imitation desire, strong plasticity, eager to become talents, active thinking but lack of life experience, career interview can stimulate students' learning initiative from the inside, so that students can take these excellent interviewees as examples, their social experience, entrepreneurial process, life experience and dealing with people. As the saying goes, internal cause is the fundamental reason for the development of things, which determines the direction and speed of things. These interview characters and interview contents will unconsciously become life and workplace resources that college students can learn from.

Through the innovation of practical teaching methods, students' learning state has changed from passive acceptance in the past to active exploration, so as to better accept knowledge. Career planning should fully understand and understand the relevant social environment, evaluate the influence of social environment factors on personal career development, analyze its characteristics and development changes, grasp its advantages and limitations, and understand the current situation, situation and future development trend of this major and industry.

(B) enhance professional awareness, improve employability

Interview with professional figures can help students explore their career, understand their professional environment and make effective career planning. For college students who have no work experience and social experience, this is a better way to understand their careers. Cognition of occupation can help us to know more work information, and it should also include understanding of dedication and happiness and sincere respect for many ordinary workers, so that college students who have just entered the workplace have a positive, optimistic and confident attitude. The employment capital of college students includes human capital, social capital and psychological capital, which together determine individual competitiveness. Through interviews with professional figures, college students get to know the knowledge, experience, certificates and skills needed for some positions, which increases the possibility of obtaining employment opportunities; College students can also expand their social networks, which will help them get more employment opportunities. It can also have a strong influence and appeal on some students through a good mind of choosing words, such as self-confidence, optimism, perseverance, and courage to innovate, stimulate the independent consciousness of college students' career development, urge them to rationally plan their future development, and strive to continuously and consciously improve their employability in the future study process. Career interview is an effective way for college students to accumulate employment capital, and it is also a way to improve their competitiveness in job hunting.

(3) Optimize students' job-seeking status and adjust their job-seeking psychology.

Employment is a major event related to the personal future and social stability of college graduates, and it is a test of college students' comprehensive quality, especially their psychological quality. The establishment of the two-way selection system makes college students prone to conceit and conservatism. Interview with people can help to reduce the above two unhealthy mentality of college students and help students to have a real experience of "360 lines, each line is the best".

The great employment pressure of contemporary college students has also led to a series of psychological problems of graduates. College students are in the early stage of life development, and their job hunting psychology is prone to depression and inferiority after setbacks. Career interview is to use successful professionals to share their life and career experiences, put forward their own views on the setbacks and failures encountered in their career, and even share their own failure experiences. On the basis of cultivating college students' benign job-hunting mentality, they have deepened their confidence in resisting setbacks and avoided abnormal psychology in the job-hunting process.

College students have higher demands on themselves than ordinary groups, and sometimes their demands on the environment and themselves are inevitably too idealistic. When there is a gap between reality and ideal life, quite a few college students can't adjust their psychological state correctly, and they are prone to deviation and even suicide, which also brings us vigilance. Character interview helps students get encouragement under the role of peer communication and example demonstration, motivate themselves to struggle, and face life with a positive and confident attitude on the road of career development. Schools should attach importance to contact with more capable alumni, especially invite alumni who have made certain achievements in society to express their views, mobilize students' awareness of career planning in various ways, tap students' potential internal driving force, and make students more confident in their future career development through on-site practical teaching.

To sum up, interviews with professional figures make the career planning course truly combine theory with practice, integrate the teaching of knowledge points into social practice, innovate teaching methods and improve the initiative of college students. On the basis of paying attention to employment guidance, it also guides college students' healthy, optimistic and positive job-hunting mentality, urges them to conduct self-examination and self-exploration as soon as possible, enhances students' awareness of career planning, and urges them to improve themselves and reserve their abilities from the inside out according to the needs of society and the workplace.
