Mr. Chen Qiang studied under Professor Xiang Bingren, a famous scholar, and obtained a doctorate from Tongji University, where he taught in the Department of Architecture. He published more than ten papers in core journals, won the second prize of Tongji University Young Teachers' Speech Competition, and was sponsored by Tadao Ando Foundation to visit Japan. As the chief designer, he participated in the Antangtang City that Never Sleeps Exchange Center and Ningbo Administrative Center hosted by Professor Xiang Bingren, and won the architectural creation Excellence Award of Shanghai Architectural Society. His dual status as a practicing architect and a university teacher has enabled him to have a solid academic foundation and a positive creative attitude.

He is also a director of Shanghai Real Estate Economic Society, Shanghai System Engineering Society and Shanghai Construction Science and Technology Research Association.
