This paper discusses the present situation and significance of the interactive development of community sports and school sports from the perspective of the educational nature of community sports and the sociality of school sports, so as to promote the common development of community sports and school sports.
First, the status quo of the interactive development of community sports and school sports in China
At present, the first obstacle to the development of community sports activities in China is the lack of community public stadiums and facilities. Through field visits, the author found that at present, 80% street offices in medium-sized cities in China have no sports facilities, and the remaining 20% street offices only have some small venues such as table tennis rooms and parallel bars. According to the data, the lack of community sports venues and facilities in China directly limits the time and content of community sports activities, which in turn affects the number of people participating in community sports activities and is not conducive to the development of community sports activities.
In addition to normal teaching and training, school facilities are basically idle on weekends and holidays. Even during normal classes, some school facilities are not fully utilized. Judging from the development of community sports abroad, 58.8% people use the stadiums and facilities of their community schools, especially in some countries in Europe and America, where community sports and school sports are basically interoperable. In recent years, in some economically developed areas in China, such as the coastal areas of East China and South China, the interactive development of community sports and school sports has shown a good trend, while the economically underdeveloped areas in the central and western regions are basically blank. At present, community sports and school sports in China are basically separated, so we should pay attention to this.

Community is the basic space for human existence, and school education is the necessary stage of life. Therefore, under the premise of not affecting the normal teaching order of the school, opening the idle venues and facilities to community residents on holidays can not only improve their utilization rate, but also make up for the shortage of social sports venues and facilities.

Another difficulty in developing community sports is the lack of venues for sports activities. Schools have certain sports facilities, especially those in colleges and universities. As long as it is properly funded and managed, the problem of lack of facilities and venues for community sports can be solved to a certain extent on the premise of doing a good job in school sports and effectively using school sports facilities to carry out community sports activities. In addition, students' participation in social sports activities can enhance the vitality of community sports. Students are the most active factor in community sports, which can promote the development of community sports in a "relaxed, happy, lively and harmonious" direction and activate community sports.
