Abstract: Ethiopians in Africa discovered coffee in ancient times, and Arabs planted coffee in the Middle Ages. In the late Middle Ages, China promoted coffee from a religious drink and a medical drink to a popular recreational drink, Turks invented a truly scientific way of drinking coffee, and Indians participated in the spread of coffee. During the period of geographical discovery (from the end of15th century to17th century), Europeans spread coffee to all parts of the world, and developed the cafe culture to the most prosperous period. Therefore, people in Africa, Asia and Europe have jointly contributed to making coffee one of the three major beverages in the world today. Coffee was introduced to China in the late Qing Dynasty, and was obtained by Finn Foothold in the Republic of China (1912-1949). Since the reform and opening up, drinking coffee has become a fashion in China, and China people's own coffee culture has gradually formed.
