How to clean various fans?
Abstract: In the hot summer, the temperature rises, and the fan that has rested for a whole winter has to "work" again. Many friends will notice that after last summer's work and storage in autumn and winter, thick dust has accumulated on the protective net and blades of electric fans. If the electric fan is used directly without cleaning, dust will spread into the air with the rotation of the blades, causing air pollution. In addition, the dust and dirt on the electric fan may breed germs. Using unclean electric fans will undoubtedly pose a great threat to the health of ourselves and our families, so don't be lazy before using electric fans every summer, you need to clean them. So how to clean it? How to clean various fans?

1, floor fan, desk fan, box fan

Ordinary floor fan, desk fan, box fan, etc. Disassembly and cleaning are relatively simple. Most men in the family can open it. After disassembly, the fan blade and cover can be cleaned with water. In some families, there may be some stains on the fan blades that are difficult to remove, such as smoke stains and oil stains. At this time, it can be washed off with a detergent that removes oil fumes. This cleaning only involves the surface of the fan, not the inside of the machine.

The most important maintenance component of electric fan is motor. To maintain the motor, it is necessary to remove the screws, mainly to check whether the bearings and gears of the motor need oiling. Nylon gears are particularly easy to break down and need regular maintenance. You can use household sewing machine oil or ordinary gear oil to drip on it for lubrication and maintenance.

Note: If you clean the electric fan yourself, you must cut off the power supply in advance. You can scrub it with a wet rag, but you must dry the water on it after cleaning.

2. Air conditioning fan

Air conditioning fans need professional cleaning. Because the motor parts are hidden inside, air-conditioning fans generally need professional cleaning. What we can do by ourselves is to check whether the filter screen needs to be replaced, whether the filter element can be removed for cleaning, and whether the water tank leaks or lacks water. Because it is impossible for consumers to open other parts of the fuselage, if there is a problem, it needs professional operation.

Note: When using the air conditioner at ordinary times, pay attention to check whether the air conditioner fan has abnormal sound. General use for a long time, the bearing will have abnormal sound, and sometimes you will hear knocking, which is likely to be a foreign body at the water injection port. These situations need to be repaired by professionals in time.

3. ceiling fan

The cleaning of ceiling fans is purely a "surface" job. Consumers can remove the fan blades and wash them themselves, so that men at home can operate them. Because the motor of the ceiling fan is closed, consumers can't disassemble it themselves. In addition, pay special attention to the ceiling fan, and turn several gears of the controller by hand to see if there is ignition. If there is such a phenomenon, it means that the controller needs to be replaced, and it can't be repaired generally, so it can only be replaced by professionals.

4. Exhaust fan

(1) Gently unplug the power supply of the exhaust fan to realize electromechanical separation. Be careful when unplugging the power supply.

(2) Dilute neutral detergent with a small amount of warm water or prepare a small amount of light soapy water. If there is oil stain, use hot water and detergent, and add more detergent. Hot water must be used here.

(3) Loosen the front and rear screws and gently remove the rear cover of the Masano exhaust fan.

(4) Pull out the connector of the exhaust fan, and remove the filter screen and the back cover together to avoid touching.

(5) Put the filter screen and the back cover into the container, clean it for 10- 15 minutes, and then clean it with clean water. Do not immerse the small motor in water or clean it with water. If there are oil stains, remove the parts that need to be cleaned, soak them in the mixed solution of detergent and vinegar for 10-20 minutes, and then scrub them with a clean rag, which will be clean and thorough.

(6) Wipe clean blades and inner walls with clear water.

(7) Reinstall the filter screen and the back cover. The distance should not be too close, and air circulation and humidity balance should be maintained. If necessary, consider using some dehumidifiers or dehumidifying facilities together, and try to use pure water when filling water into the water cooling device.

(8) After cleaning, drop a few drops of engine oil into the oil hole of the motor housing.

Clean the fan without removing the fan cover.

1, prepare one hundred pieces of clean cotton, then cut it with a knife and cut it into square pieces.

2. Then squeeze a proper amount of detergent on the treated scouring pad, and then sprinkle some water on the scouring pad.

3. After understanding the structure of the sector, we only need to wipe it from the inside out in the direction of the spokes, and then wipe it after pressing it on the spokes with a certain force. After wiping, check our scouring pad first, and you will find that scouring pad is covered with a thick layer of dust and countless bacteria. Then we went to see the root of the fan mask and wiped it with modified cotton, which was also very clean. And the mask and the fan blades are not damaged.

4. After wiping with scouring pad, we only need to wipe off the residual detergent on the fan mask with a clean and moist rag. At this time, people's eyes will light up, and the effect is very good. Finally, put our mask bag on the fan and put it in storage.

How to remove oil stains from electric fans?

1. Glue removal method: After the brushed fan leaves are dried, apply a layer of office glue. After several months of use, the oil stains on the fan blades are torn off, and the oil stains are all on the adhesive layer, which is convenient and clean.

2, detergent removal method: first spread a newspaper on the stove, turn on the switch of the range hood, "preheat" the fan blades for two minutes; Spray detergent on the fan of the range hood, turn off the range hood and let it stand for three minutes; Then spray 60℃ hot water into the fan of the range hood, and then turn on the switch to let the dissolved oil drip into the oil storage box.

3. Pressure cooker steam washing method: put half a pot of cold water in the pressure cooker and boil it. When the steam is continuously discharged, take the lower limit pressure valve, open the range hood, and aim the steam water column at the rotating fan blades. As the high-temperature steam constantly washes the blades, the oily water will flow into the waste oil tank along the oil drain tank.

4. Soaking method of detergent and vinegar: Carefully take out the fan blades, soak them in a pot of hot water mixed with 2ml detergent and 50ml vinegar for about 15min, and then scrub them with a clean rag. The body of the range hood is also cleaned with this solution, so it is necessary to keep the temperature of the solution at about 60℃ to get good decontamination. This self-made cleaning solution is proved to be non-irritating to hand skin and eye mucosa, non-corrosive to range hood, and the surface still maintains its original luster after cleaning.

How to maintain the fan temporarily?

1. Open the rear cover of the motor, first wipe off the dust with a cloth, and then inject more than ten drops of sewing machine oil into the oil injection hole to wet and maintain the bearing.

2. Keep all switch buttons in the closed position to prevent the internal spring from failing due to elastic fatigue.

3. The electroplated mesh cover can be coated with some light wax to keep it clean. Any oil that falls on the plastic fan blades and the net cover must be wiped off to avoid long-term chemical damage.

4, should remove the electric fan net cover, blades, first with a soft clean cloth dipped in soapy water to scrub the dirt on it, and then wash away the soapy liquid with clear water, and finally dry it with a dry cloth.

5, the action should be light, don't hit the fan blade, if it is a plastic fan blade can't be scrubbed with hot water, keep the angle of yuan, otherwise, it will affect the use. Do not scrub parts with gasoline, alcohol and other liquids, otherwise the paint surface will age, fade or even rust.

How to store electric fans

1. Unplug the electric fan, cut off the power supply and stand on the ground;

2. Loosen the screw of the cover hoop (also called mesh ring) with a screwdriver, remove the front mesh hood, and then remove the cover hoop;

3. Remove the lock nut of the fan blade and take off the fan blade;

4, remove the rear net lock mother, remove the rear wind cover;

5. Loosen the locking knob and remove the motor head;

6. Loosen the lifting lock button and take out the lifting pipe;

7. Dismantle the chassis;

8. Put the net cover, blade and case cover into clean water, and clean the dust with a soft cloth and brush;

9. Sort out the dried parts, put them in cartons or plastic bags and put them in a reasonable place.

What are the taboos for storing electric fans?

1, avoid using gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, etc. Scrubbing electric fans, because they will corrode the surface of electric fans; It is also forbidden to use gasoline, diesel oil and kerosene as lubricants, and sewing machine oil should be used as lubricants.

2. Avoid wiping the electric fan with coarse cloth and brush, and wipe it with soft cloth; Avoid using plastic sheets, because they contain potassium phthalate, which will corrode the paint surface.

3. Don't put the electric fan in a hot or humid place, because it is easy to strip paint at high temperature and rust at wet; Avoid washing electric fans with water, because electric fans rust easily when exposed to water.
