Anhui Water Conservancy and Hydropower Vocational and Technical College, located in Hefei, Anhui Province, is a public full-time ordinary university affiliated to the Water Resources Department of Anhui Province. Anhui Vocational College of Water Conservancy and Hydropower was founded in 1952, and its predecessor was "Huaihe Water Conservancy Institute" of the Ministry of Water Resources. In 2000, with the approval of Anhui Provincial People's Government, Anhui Vocational and Technical College of Water Resources and Hydropower was formally established.
