The second concept is the existence of reincarnation. To prove the existence of reincarnation, it is necessary to investigate and study those who can remember past lives. This kind of research is aimed at some people who can remember their past lives, especially some children, because this child has a good memory and he can remember his past lives. Through the investigation of these children, according to what they said, find the place where he lived in his previous life, and then check these relatives and friends he knew, and finally prove that this person was indeed reincarnated there. This kind of hypnosis is also called past life.
Some people may say that the authenticity of this research is reliable, and I can tell you responsibly that the results of the research are very well verified. Generally speaking, these experts and scholars have conducted many investigations on reincarnation cases by means of "obtaining information", "filing a case for questioning", "obtaining evidence face to face", "tracking and observing" and finally writing a report. Logical thinking like this gives people a very objective and credible feeling, so its evidence is also very conclusive. A case may take years, decades or even decades to conduct repeated follow-up investigations. One of the most prestigious scholars in this field is Professor Ian Stephenson, a famous psychologist at the University of Virginia. After more than 40 years of research, he has collected more than 3,000 cases of this kind of reincarnation. Many works have been published, including one called Twenty Cases of Samsara (you can find it yourself if you are interested).
The third is causality, which is what we often call karma. Because Buddhism has a complete and thorough view of karma, here we will discuss the basis of causality according to its theory.
In detail, the behaviors that belong to evil mainly include "ten evils" and "five inversions". Every evil thing has its retribution, which varies according to its severity: those who do the worst of the "ten evils" will suffer in hell after death; Moderate, reborn as a beast after death, suffering; To a lesser extent, after death, people are born hungry and suffer. When they were born as human beings after suffering the above pain, they were rewarded with the following results: killing, stealing, fornication, lying, swearing, tongue-tied, greedy, jealous and delusional.
In addition to the ten evils, the five evils are more serious, one of which is "unfilial to parents, even killing parents", and its retribution is a great bitter reward, which is worth entering the most bitter and endless hell. All kinds of other evils are self-inflicted, and there are many names, so I won't list them here.
If you can practice ten good deeds, you will get the opposite result. After death, serious people are born in heaven to enjoy happiness; The younger ones were born after death. Those who did not kill in the past will be rewarded with health, less illness and long life when they are reborn; Those who do the rest of the good deeds will enjoy their due reward.
Therefore, it is very necessary to accumulate more good deeds in life.
(1) There are many factors of reincarnation, but not everyone will be reincarnated after death, which is directly related to the cause and effect accumulated in previous lives.
There is an anthropologist in America named Dr. Mario, who specializes in hypnosis to study reincarnation. Dr. Mario made a hypnosis and found that it was a middle-aged American in his thirties. This man has a problem, that is, he feels lonely all day and wants to find friends. He was also worried about how to treat his loneliness, so he went to Dr. Mario for hypnosis. As a result, he found that this person turned out to be a dolphin in his previous life.
There are many examples in the United States, and many people are found to be reincarnated as animals. Of course, some people will become animals when they die.
This is also reflected in Buddhism: Buddhism says that the six divisions in the wheel of karma, man and beast are all part of the six paths of reincarnation, and the beast is not always an animal, but can still be reincarnated as a human being when evil comes to an end. Today is an animal, you want it to die; In the afterlife, he doesn't want you alive. Measure for measure, unequivocally. If we don't cherish the life of animals and think they are inferior, we can kill them, which will be rewarded. Therefore, there is only one way to prevent it-stop killing.
(2) It is difficult to have an exact definition of soul, because religion, medicine, psychiatry and even quantum physics have different views and cognition. Of course, I have seen frequency, biological magnetic field, mental consciousness and so on before. I said that all these things are possible, and I hope that science can find a real answer in the future.
(3) Yes. We know that the body is not me, it is like my clothes. This soul has lived in it for decades, just like wearing clothes for decades. Finally, it is worn out, so the body will perish, but the soul will not. Modern people do not know the truth. He always thinks that this body is me, and even makes all kinds of evil things to satisfy the desire of this body, so the soul should be the master of our body, and don't be a slave to the body for its own selfish desires.
(4) In Buddhist theory, cause and effect are related to three aspects. The so-called "three" refers to the past world, the present world and the future world. "This world" refers to the present life. "Past life" ranges from the present past life to the infinite past life, belonging to the past life. The "future world" includes the range from the next world to the infinitely distant future, which belongs to the future world.
The so-called "causal connection" has two meanings:
(1) The time from doing good or evil to producing results is fast or slow. If you are quick, there will be results if you live; If it is slow, it may be karma created in previous lives, reported in this life, or karma created in this life, reported in the future; If you slow down, from cause to effect, cross the past world, the present world and the future world. After millions of robberies, it takes infinite time to produce results. Robbery is the unit of time calculation in Buddhist scriptures. Robbery can be divided into big robbery, medium robbery and small robbery. The robbery mentioned in the scriptures usually refers to the great robbery. A catastrophe is1343.84 million years. )
(2) After the fruit report is generated, the period of receiving the report is also short and long. Short, only a few days, months, years; If it is very long, it will take an infinite time from the beginning to the end, spanning the past world, the present world and the future world. It may take a lifetime, or ten, a hundred, or even a thousand robberies to enjoy all the blessings.
Because of this, if someone has done great good deeds in his past life, he may have started to enjoy the blessing many lifetimes ago, and will continue to enjoy it in this life and even in the future. No one has the right to easily deprive him of his due blessings before he has finished enjoying them.
So it is determined by the cause and effect accumulated by us in past lives.
(5) Yes. But just like the first question, these are directly related to the cause and effect accumulated by you in past lives. You have to work hard to achieve it.
Most people deny the existence of karma because they can't see the report of this life. In fact, Buddhist scriptures have long told us that good and evil will not disappear even if there are thousands of robberies. As long as the karma is encountered, it will still produce results, and ultimately it will be borne by itself.
