In the works of Roman writers Terrence and Cicero, the word evolved into the meaning of writing and style, indicating a certain way of expressing ideas in words. British, French and German styles all come from this. The word "Chinese style" has appeared in Jin people's works (see Ge Hong's Bao Puzi, etc. ) refers to people's demeanor and personality.
