1. Phosphating coated steel wire rope (patented product), the steel wire is phosphatized by manganese series or zinc-manganese series, and the surface of the steel wire is very wear-resistant, effectively inhibiting the occurrence of fretting wear. It is an upgraded product of smooth steel wire rope, and its service life in atmospheric environment is far longer than that of smooth steel wire rope with the same structure, including steel wire rope imported from Germany, Japan and other developed countries (phosphating rope is about 3 times of smooth steel wire rope at present, and it may be greatly improved in the future, which can be verified and compared by fatigue test). The thickness of phosphating film is 3-60g/m2. After phosphating, the steel wire will not be pulled, and the steel wire will be twisted directly. Note-wire drawing phosphating and rope steel wire phosphating should not be confused). Foreign countries have innovated the wire rope technology in China. This innovative technology is suitable for almost all kinds of wire ropes, such as elevator wire ropes and important wire ropes.
2. Galvanized steel wire rope, including hot dip galvanizing and electro-galvanizing. The thicker the zinc layer, the longer the service time and the thinner the zinc electroplating. The thicker the zinc layer, the stronger the corrosion resistance. Because the phosphating film has certain corrosion resistance, manganese phosphating film steel wire rope can replace some varieties of thin galvanized steel wire rope, such as Grade B galvanized steel wire rope in GB89 18-2006.
3. Stainless steel wire rope, steel wire rope twisted with stainless steel wire, such as 304 or 3 16 stainless steel, is more expensive. The service life of stainless steel wire can also be greatly prolonged by carrying out manganese phosphating coating treatment (phosphating of stainless steel wire requires special phosphating formula).
4. Plastic coated steel wire rope: On the basis of high-quality carbon steel wire rope, the outer layer of steel wire rope or strand rope is coated with polyethylene or polypropylene.
5. 1834 British production, 1939 China Tianjin No.1 Wire Rope Factory production and use, with a large number of entering the market, will be completely replaced by phosphating coated wire rope.
Elevator wire ropes are usually side by side. For specific operation, it is most reliable to contact elevator manufacturers and consult their opinions. For manned elevators, safety is always the first.
