This paper analyzes the regional culture in landscape design. Landscape design refers to the planned and artificial transformation by using the technical methods of gardens and engineering, combined with the topography, vegetation and buildings in this area. Urban landscape design tends to be reasonable, and garden landscape can protect the ecological environment, with ornamental value and provide services for people's daily life. Regional culture is closely related to landscape, which provides materials for landscape design and is the carrier of regional culture. Only by integrating the regional culture into the garden landscape can it have ornamental value and artistic value, and the regional culture can be inherited and developed.

When designing the landscape, we can directly keep the complete, typical buildings with high historical and cultural value. You can also extract typical element symbols and integrate them into the garden landscape by modern methods, so that the garden landscape not only has ornamental value and artistic characteristics, but also shows strong regional cultural characteristics.
