Nima Tashi was born in Shannan, Tibet (now Shannan City) to an ordinary peasant family. 1982 was admitted to the Department of Agriculture of Northwest Agricultural University. 1985 sent to graduate school of Chinese academy of agricultural sciences for further study for one year. 1joined the work in July 1986. 1July, 992, he went to Shashike with excellent results.
