Infrared and Laser Engineering is a periodical of the Optoelectronic Technology Committee of China Aerospace Society. Founded in 1972, it is a national academic publication approved by the State Science and Technology Commission and the State Press and Publication Administration. After 30 years' continuous development, this journal has become the statistical source journal and Chinese core journal of China's scientific papers, and has been included by American Engineering Index (EI)compendex, British Scientific Abstracts (SA), American Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSCD), Russian Abstracts Magazine (AJ) and Japanese Science and Technology Society Database (JST).

This magazine is a comprehensive publication combining academic and engineering applications in the field of photoelectric technology in China aerospace industry. It mainly publishes academic papers and engineering research reports on infrared and laser technology in China, reflecting the engineering application level of photoelectric technology in aerospace, satellite and missile weapon systems in China.

The editorial board of this journal consists of more than 70 academicians, including Guo Guang, Zhang Yi, Zhang Yi, Zhang Yi and other famous experts and scholars in the field of optoelectronics in China. They come from aerospace, aviation, weapons, electronics, mechanical systems, Chinese Academy of Sciences and famous universities in China. Through their peer review, the quality of periodicals has been improved.
