Geng graduated from the Department of Stomatology of Beijing Medical University. He has been a professor and chief physician of Peking University College of Stomatology for many years, and has been engaged in the teaching and research of common diseases in stomatology for a long time. There are many researches on alveolar surgery, and more than 70 clinical practical papers have been published. Because of his achievements in outpatient service, he participated in the first national conference on medical outpatient service and emergency service sponsored by the Ministry of Health, and was praised by the conference, so he was rated as an advanced worker in Beijing's education and health system that year. I have taught college students for decades and trained many graduate students. There is a monograph "Mandibular Impacted Wisdom Teeth" and many books have been compiled. There are many scientific research achievements (mandibular wisdom teeth, jaw cyst, trigeminal nerve avulsion and radiofrequency therapy, tooth extraction for cardiovascular patients, surgical orthodontics) and 7 scientific and technological progress awards (including the Ministry of Health, Beijing and Beijing Medical University). Creative and pioneering scientific research achievements include: standardizing and enriching various extraction methods of mandibular impacted wisdom teeth; It is pointed out that the extraction socket is the main cause of dry socket; Long-term follow-up observation was carried out on various complications after extraction of impacted mandibular wisdom teeth, and a new concept of "pre-pharyngeal infection" was put forward. The improvement of surgical methods for large and medium-sized jaw cysts basically eliminated postoperative infection, and put forward a new concept of "eruption odontogenic cysts" and a simple surgical method to prevent dentition deformity without scraping teeth. The application of intraoral trigeminal nerve avulsion was first applied in stomatology and popularized the radiofrequency treatment and surgical orthodontics of trigeminal neuralgia.
