Shanghai Maritime University was founded in Shanghai Higher Industrial School of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications in the late Qing Dynasty from 65438 to 0909. I. Introduction of the Project
The MBA education of Shanghai Maritime University began at 1996. In that year, with the approval of the the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, the School of Economics and Management of Haida University and the Maastricht School of Management (MSM) in the Netherlands began to cooperate in organizing MBA programs. During the period of 1998, with the approval of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee, the College independently conducted MBA education. In 20001year, the college passed the national MBA education qualification assessment organized by the State Council Academic Degree Office, won the third place in the national comprehensive assessment, and was authorized to formally offer MBA education (the third batch in China). In 2002, the MBA program jointly organized by the college and MSM was certified by AMBA. In the same year, Shanghai Maritime University was approved to be one of the first batch of 30 EMBA education pilot units in China.
