The TEM-8 exam for German majors, called the TEM-8 exam for German majors in national universities, is held in early March every year, which is the most important goal for the majority of German majors except graduation thesis.

As one of the German professional examinations, candidates are required to have a deep understanding of German national conditions and culture, be proficient in German listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation, and have good German language expression and application ability. The vocabulary requirement is about 5000.
