As college students in the new era, labor education is indispensable. Labor creates the world, labor creates history, labor creates people, and labor creates value. It can be said that labor creates everything. Imagine what the world would be like without labor. It may be a pile of rubbish, a wasteland or a dead silence.

Labor education is so important that we organized five practical labors this semester, which made us understand the meaning of labor more deeply.

Labor creates beauty and happiness.

The first practical task is to clean the dormitory. The name of this actual labor is "The Most Beautiful Dormitory Competition", which is the first time that I have collectively cleaned the dormitory since I went to college. -We work together. I mop the floor and tidy the washstand.

The fifth practical activity is relatively easy, and it is a league building activity on the playground. In this activity, we were divided into two groups and played three games. Although our group is a loser, we are not sad, but very happy and consolidate the friendship between our classmates.

Through the beautiful dormitory environment created by my own labor and the league building activities on the playground, I understand the importance of labor and really understand why labor can create beauty and happiness.

Labor creates people and value.

The second practical work is to make cakes and origami in groups. When the group is making cakes, each of us brings carefully selected fruits and biscuits in advance and then distributes them. My task is to cut the fruit to be used for decoration and grind the biscuits into powder.

Other members have their own tasks. We make cakes wholeheartedly. This is the first time that we have made our own cake. Nobody knows how to start. Everyone actively inquired for information and finally made this delicious food.

We tasted this hard-won cake, and at that moment I suddenly realized that it was not just a cake, but also a piece of work we worked hard for.

What followed was origami, which is really an arduous task for us clumsy science and engineering boys, but through unremitting efforts, we finally got the product, a paper folding umbrella, a paper frog and a paper crane.

Although it is not very beautiful, it is still very eye-catching. Through an ordinary piece of paper, we turned it into a physical model, and we can't help wondering whether the ancients also made models first and then made them through such origami. We don't know.

We get food through labor and turn ordinary things into more valuable things through labor. People will die without food, but we get food through labor. Ordinary paper can be turned into more valuable products through labor. Through these two practical labors, I understand that labor creates people and creates value.

Labor has created history.

The third time is to learn from model workers, give a speech on stage and tell a good story about model workers, so that we can have a better understanding of labor. In ancient times, thousands of craftsmen built the Great Wall of Wan Li to help us resist foreign enemies. Today, thousands of doctors and nurses struggling in the front line help us fight the virus. Meng Tai, Yuan Longping and Zhang are all national model workers.

Meng Tai, a model worker in Qian Qian who built the Great Wall, has become history, and so will Grandpa Yuan and Teacher Zhang, the medical staff in Qian Qian who fought against the epidemic. Their names will be on the title page of history. Because they have created extraordinary achievements with labor, because labor has created history.

Labor created the world.

The fourth practical work is to visit the elderly in nursing homes. I gained a lot by going to the nursing home this time. There are many old people there, who come from all walks of life.

Some of them used to be architects, some used to be teachers, some used to be sanitation workers, some used to be farmers, some used to be greening workers, and some used to be urban designers ... They told their own life stories and jobs. Through the communication with these grandparents, it seems that they created everything, as if the world was created by them through labor.

Through this practical labor, we learned valuable experience from grandparents from all walks of life, and finally understood why Comrade Marx said that labor created the world.

Practice is the only criterion for testing truth. Through these five practical labors, I understand the importance and significance of labor. Labor creates beauty, labor creates people and value, labor creates history, labor creates the world, and labor creates everything.

These practical labors tell us that we should do "I don't have to succeed, but I must succeed", actively participate in labor, make contributions to national construction, and strive to realize our own life value.
