Xin Qiji's Breaking the Array: A Gift to Zhuang Ci by Chen Tongfu

Drunk in the dream of watching the sword under the oil lamp, dreaming back to the old days of the military camp, a horn sounded. Give the roast beef to the men and the band will play northern songs. This is a military parade on the battlefield in autumn.

Horses run like Ma Delu, bows and arrows fly like thunder. It is a good idea for the emperor to complete the great cause of recovering the lost land of the country and gain a good reputation from generation to generation. Poor hair has become a white-haired man!

Vernacular translation:

Drunk, pick up the bright oil lamp and watch the sword. When I woke up, I heard the bugle of the barracks. Give beef to the soldiers to enjoy, and let the musical instruments play magnificent military music to boost morale. This is the autumn parade on the battlefield. Horses run like horses, bows and arrows thunder. I am bent on completing the great cause of recovering the lost land of the country for you and gaining a good reputation handed down from generation to generation. Unfortunately, he has become a white-haired man!

Xin Qiji's Sword Sending and Fu Yancuo

Evil shines three feet on people's cold, try to look at it with a lamp.

Hangkongzhai, as a piano partner, doesn't have to chop Loulan.

Vernacular translation:

Cast a three-foot cold light shining evil sword, and take out the sword at night to light the oil lamp and appreciate it carefully. (Such a good sword) Now I can only hang my study with Qin Wei, and I can't take it to the border to kill the enemy.

Extended data

Xin Qiji, formerly known as Tan Fu, later changed to You An,No. Jiaxuan, was born in Licheng County, Jinan, Shandong East Road (now Sifengzha Village, Yao Qiang Town, Licheng District, Jinan City). Bold poets and generals in the Southern Song Dynasty are known as "dragons in words". Known as "Su Xin" with Su Shi and "Jinan Er 'an" with Li Qingzhao.

Xin Ci has exerted a great influence on the history of literature with its patriotism in content and artistic innovation spirit. Chen Liang and Liu Guo, who sang on the same stage as Xin Qiji, or later Liu Kezhuang and Liu Chenweng all had similar creative tendencies, forming a huge patriotic ci school after the mid-Southern Song Dynasty. Later, when the country and the nation were in crisis, many writers drew spiritual inspiration from Xin Ci.

Xin Qiji's political comments, like Ci, are magnificent and full of lofty sentiments. He can use vivid metaphors, strong evidence, rigorous argumentation and rational analysis to make his article convincing without doubt. Therefore, later generations regard him as a masterpiece of political papers in the Southern Song Dynasty, which is only covered by the name of the word and is not widely known.
