The five-year survival rate of lung cancer is only 22%! Swiss study: "Smoked" grapes can reduce tumors by 45%
Cancer ranks first among the top ten causes of death in China in 37 years, and lung cancer ranks first among 10 cancer mortality, with rapid deterioration and easy metastasis. The 5-year survival rate is only 22%. However, a study by the University of Geneva in Switzerland found that "smelling" grapes is very effective in treating lung cancer.

The best treatment for lung cancer is "inhalation". Lung cancer is difficult to treat because it is different from gastrointestinal cancer. Oral drugs have to go through layers of checkpoints to reach the lungs, and the effect is very poor. If the drug is administered through blood, it is easy to cause systemic side effects, and actually not enough drugs reach the lungs.

In order to solve this problem, Muriel Cuendet, a scientist from UNIGE, Switzerland, led the team to think, "If inhaled through the nose, will it be more effective for respiratory cancer?" So they made resveratrol, which can treat and prevent cancer, into nasal drops, and found that it can really inhibit tumors successfully in mouse experiments.

Resveratrol is a plant polyphenol, which exists in many plants. Has anticancer activity, and can reduce cancer tumor. Red wine is considered to be anti-cancer, in fact, partly because it contains resveratrol. In fact, foods such as grapes, peanuts and berries also contain resveratrol.

The research team said that in the past, resveratrol was studied in vitro or in mice, but it was only used on cells, and the effect was very good. If you enter the mouse experiment, you have to take a high dose, the effect is not so good, and other toxicity may occur. "We think it may be because resveratrol extract is highly absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract after oral administration, but it is rapidly metabolized in the liver and then excreted in urine, so the effect is not good. 」

To prove this, the research team made resveratrol into nasal drops and dripped it directly from the nose of mice. Results The drug concentration in lung was 22.5 times higher than that in oral administration, and the efficiency of entering blood was 2.5 times. Lung cancer tumors have shrunk by 45%.

Is it effective to suck grapes with your nose? Resveratrol can also prevent lung cancer to some extent. In the experiment, only 12.5% of the mice that were not exposed to carcinogens and did not use resveratrol did not get cancer. However, 63% of mice that were not exposed to carcinogens but used resveratrol did not have cancer.

"This formula is suitable for humans, but not everyone. Just like targeted drugs for lung cancer, resveratrol has its own biomarker, and it needs to find the right people to use it, the research team said. Moreover, the dosage is still different. At present, it can be confirmed that it has a certain effect on smokers.

This is nothing "new", but the oral effect is very poor, so the health foods that claim to contain resveratrol on the market are actually not that powerful. Smelling more grapes may be better; It will take some time for resveratrol to be pure enough to be inhaled by the nose, but lung cancer may not be the most terrible cancer in the future.
