First, in China, general science and engineering majors require doctoral graduates to publish SCI, and also require some local masters to publish SCI. Don't doubt the ability of Chinese Academy of Sciences and top universities in China to inject SCI.

Second, not publishing SCI does not mean no, and publishing SCI does not mean greatness. The school requires SCI, which is a sign that the school level is not enough and the school is lazy.

Third, if you stare at SCI, it means that the level is not good. The gap between SCI and SCI is bigger than that between humans and pigs. The Chinese Academy of Sciences has long been indifferent to SCI, and it seems that Tsinghua didn't ask to publish his doctoral thesis this year.
