The Chinese version of Machiavelli's Complete Works fully reflects Machiavelli's achievements in politics, military affairs, diplomacy, history and literature (there are only three volumes of Machiavelli's main works in English). Since 1980s, the Chinese versions of Machiavelli's works have been published one after another, but they are not systematic, mainly translated from English, Japanese and Russian. This time, The Complete Works of Machiavelli will include all the works of Machiavelli's life and fully reflect his achievements. This set of books combines various versions of Italy's complete works, collections and anthologies, and selects high-quality post-versions. The main works are all translated from (ancient) Italian, and some works are translated from English, but they are also proofread according to Italian. This series of books is the first publication of the Chinese version of the Complete Works of Machiavelli. Pan Handian, Xu Datong, Tian Shigang, Zhou Chunsheng and other famous domestic political and legal experts, historical experts and translators were hired as academic consultants.
