If Dou Ying didn't show his will, would Emperor Wu kill Dou Ying?
Dou Ying, there was nothing wrong with him. He devoted his life to the country of the Han Dynasty. But such a consort didn't end well in the end, because the tables have turned and Dou Ying met another consort, Tian Fen.

During the struggle between the two consorts, Dou Ying was finally defeated, and Tian Fen took the opportunity to eradicate Dou Ying and his gang. Dou Ying's henchmen were the first to take action, which made Dou Ying very embarrassed. After a series of deliberation, Dou Ying planned to kill a killer to save Guan Fu and his life, but it was this killer that accelerated Dou Ying's death.

Dou Ying and the battle of Tian Fen.

Dou Ying, the nephew of Han Jing's mother Dou Taihou, won the favor of Dou Taihou. Dou Taihou was always kind to Dou Ying when he was alive. In order to cultivate the power of consorts, Dou Taihou gradually promoted Dou Ying from the bottom to the red man around the emperor. Of course, Dou Ying did have some abilities, so during Han Jing's time, he was recognized by Han Jing. Even when Han Jing died, he left a will to Dou Ying, and appointed Dou Ying as the Minister of Fuzheng.

When Emperor Wu was young, due to the influence of Dou Taihou, Emperor Wu appointed Dou Ying as prime minister. Later, after Dou Taihou's death, Dou Ying's position as prime minister was abolished by Emperor Wu, and Tian Fen, the younger brother of Emperor Wu's mother, succeeded Dou Ying as prime minister. The Queen Mother also played an important role in the period of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty, which had a great influence on Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty.

Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty knew the influence of consorts on the country, but he could not directly turn against his uncle. Therefore, what Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty hoped most was that consorts could fight with each other, which led to the decline of consorts' strength. In order to achieve the goal of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty, Dou Yingfa played an important role.

Dou Ying represents the consort of Dou Taihou, the mother of Emperor Jing of Han Dynasty, that is, the old consort, while Tian fen represents the consort of the Empress Dowager of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty, that is, the new consort. If the old consorts can struggle with the new consorts and lead to mutual decline, it will be the best ending for Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty.

Things are as expected by Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty. In the face of power, there is a struggle between Dou Ying and Tian Fan. On behalf of Dou Ying's henchmen, Tian Fen was offended, and he was directly put into prison for the first time. He also said that he would exterminate this nation, which made Dou Ying anxious. Dou Ying tried his best to save his henchmen.

Dou Ying took out his will.

When Dou Ying found Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty certainly hoped that Dou Ying would continue to sail with Hotan, so he proposed that Dou Ying and Guan Fu could be spared as long as Dou Ying and Hotan Fen won. Dou Ying mistakenly thought that this was a good opportunity, so he readily agreed, but no one thought that this was actually a trap.

Dou Ying's patron, Dou Taihou, has passed away, while Tian Fen's patron, the Queen Mother, is still alive. In the eyes of normal people, Dou Ying has lost its value, and only Tian Fen is the most valuable. Therefore, no matter how reasonable Dou Ying's argument is, no one wants to support Dou Ying. The result of the debate is obvious. Dou Ying not only failed to save the irrigator, but was also arrested and imprisoned for his wrong argument.

Great, Dou Ying and the irrigator were caught, and there was no chance to turn over, so Dou Ying planned to take out his killer weapon, which was the testamentary edict left by Emperor Han Jing. The content of the testamentary edict is very simple, with only nine words "It is not convenient to talk about cheap", which means that in an emergency, Dou Ying can be allowed to meet the emperor.

According to the system and procedure of the Han Dynasty, there should be two copies of this testamentary edict, one in the hand of the minister and the other in the palace. When Dou Ying took out the testamentary edict, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty ordered people to look for files, only to find that there were no files at all, so Dou Ying was convicted of deceiving the monarch and the whole family was implicated.

Finally, Emperor Wu had to kill Dou Ying. After the death of Dou Ying and Guan Fu, Jennifer Tian always felt uneasy. He always dreamed that Dou Ying and Guan Yu would meet again to get revenge on himself, so he was scared to death. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty easily got rid of the consorts who influenced his imperial power. It can be said that it is a breeze.

So is this testamentary edict true? Where is the file? According to the interests at that time, we can analyze and discuss.

Where did the will go?

First of all, we can be sure that Dou Ying could not have produced a fake testamentary edict to try to save himself, because Dou Ying was the prime minister and was very familiar with the system of the Han Dynasty. He must also know that these testaments are archived, and he can't deceive himself at all, so we don't need to doubt the authenticity of this testamentary edict, but why is it true but not archived?

In fact, there are three main possibilities here. The first possibility is that the file of this testamentary edict was destroyed by Tian fen or the queen mother, but this possibility is very small. After all, the secrecy and importance of this file must be beyond the reach of people like Tian fen, and it is even more unnecessary for the queen mother.

Since it is impossible for Tian Fen and the Empress Dowager to destroy the files, who did? In fact, I think there are mainly two people, one is Jingdi himself and the other is Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. From the perspective of Emperor Jing of Han Dynasty, he needed Dou Ying to assist his son Liu Che, so he wrote a testament to Dou Ying to show his trust in Dou Ying and let Dou Ying help Liu Che wholeheartedly.

But Emperor Han Jingdi also knew that such a testament was actually a time bomb. If it is used by Dou Ying, the consequences will be very serious. So Emperor Han Jingdi used the secrecy of the archive to destroy it. One day, Dou Ying took out his testamentary edict and threatened Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty that because he didn't file it, he would be convicted of cheating the monarch, so Dou Ying would die. As long as Dou Ying didn't take out the testamentary edict, he would never know that it was not filed.

From this point of view, it is most likely that Emperor Han Jingdi destroyed the archives of the testamentary edict himself, but it cannot be asserted that it was destroyed by Emperor Han Jingdi, because from the later development, there will be a third possibility to destroy the testamentary edict, that is, the testamentary edict destroyed by Emperor Han Wudi.

As mentioned above, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty wanted to take advantage of the struggle between Tian Fen and Dou Ying to thoroughly crack down on consorts, but if Dou Ying had this testamentary edict, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty could not eradicate Dou Ying, so Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty had to take the lead and destroy this testamentary edict first, so as to better deal with Dou Ying in the future.

When he took out the testamentary edict, Emperor Wu deliberately made a series of appraisal measures, which was actually a deliberate delay. The purpose of his doing this is to make Dou Ying and Tian Fan suffer. It was because of these things that Tian Fen was always uneasy and finally scared to death, which achieved the ultimate goal of Emperor Wu to eradicate two groups of consorts.

label

To sum up, no matter whether Dou Ying takes out the testamentary edict or not, the ending is the same, because he wants power and becomes an influential consort, and he and Liang Wudi are doomed to be opposites. Liang Wudi is bound to get rid of him, but if he doesn't take out the testamentary edict, he may not die so fast!
