At present, there are still many schools in Fuzhou that resolutely implement the school rules of "boys' flat heads, girls' sports heads, no perming and no dyeing". We understand and support "no perming, no dyeing", but we don't understand and oppose restricting the style and length of students' hairstyles. We believe that what kind of hairstyle to keep is a person's freedom.

Many people in the legal profession also believe that there is no legal basis for schools to force students to restrict hairstyles. Everyone has his own aesthetic view, and "flat head" and "sports head" may not conform to everyone's aesthetic view. It is disrespectful to our rights and personality that the school stipulates this. Although there is no mandatory hairstyle in the school rules, it is directly included in the content of class evaluation.
