Xuancheng, called Wanling and Xuanzhou for short, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Anhui Province and the central city of the Yangtze River Delta. Located in the southeast of Anhui Province, adjacent to Jiangsu and Zhejiang, Shanghai and Hangzhou, in the transitional zone between the southeast hills and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, it has a subtropical monsoon humid climate.
