The number of words published in a paper is at least 2000 words (one page of a journal), so the number of words should be at least 2000 words (generally speaking, the journal is 2000-2500 words). 2000 words here refers to the number of characters in the space, excluding elements that cannot be counted as words, such as pictures, tables and formulas.

When publishing the core journals of social sciences, the manuscripts should meet the requirements of academic journals, and the number of words is generally 6000-8000 words. The paper should be innovative, rich in content, clear-cut, full of arguments, novel in thinking and concise in writing. The length of core journal papers is generally 5000- 10000 words, including introduction, discussion and analysis, results and conclusions.

Core journals of Peking University: Core journals generally require a higher number of papers, about 5,000-6,000 words, and the number of articles should be controlled at about 4,500-6,000 words.

CSSCI publications: it is advisable to control the number of words in each article to be more than 7000 words.

General journals: the number of words required is 2200-3000 (1 page or more). Generally, arranging 1-2 pages is enough. A few medical journals are more demanding!
