Abstract: Management courses are the basic courses in many colleges and universities. Due to the limitation of teachers' teaching ability and freshmen's understanding of abstract management concepts, the teaching quality can't meet expectations. In the current management teaching in colleges and universities, although it is generally believed that participatory teaching method can promote the improvement of teaching quality, teachers generally do not adopt this teaching method. Based on the application and necessity of participatory teaching method in management teaching practice at this stage, this paper analyzes the countermeasures to continuously improve the quality of management teaching under this teaching method.

As a basic course, the teaching quality of management is influenced by both teachers' teaching ability and students' participation. As a comprehensive basic course, management is ubiquitous in the application of modern society and has strong applicability. Therefore, teachers need to constantly attract students to participate in the study of the course, and stimulate students' interest in actively learning the basic course of management.
1 Application Status of Participatory Teaching Method in Management Teaching Practice
1. 1 Management teachers generally know the participatory teaching method, but seldom use it.
As teachers of basic management courses, they generally have a certain degree of understanding of participatory teaching methods. However, due to the limitation of course schedule, teaching progress, teachers' personal energy, the application level of participatory teaching method and other factors, and the mixed teaching mode of large classes and multiple majors is widely used in the basic management courses in colleges and universities at present, in order to facilitate teaching management and not delay teaching tasks, most management teaching teachers still adopt traditional teaching methods in the teaching process.
1.2 Management disorder
The atmosphere of traditional management classroom is too dull, while the management classroom under participatory teaching method is influenced by teachers' course content and students' participation attitude, and the classroom order is too chaotic. Many students use the opportunity of group discussion to talk about topics unrelated to the classroom content or play mobile phones, which completely violates the original teaching application purpose of participatory teaching method.
1.3 The teaching content design of management courses lacks innovation. In the process of trying to apply participatory teaching method, many management teachers lack practical experience and fail to realize the importance of participatory teaching method to management teaching in time. However, they lack the idea of designing the teaching content of the course, don't know where to start, and don't have a good innovative way. They are all successful teaching cases. Successful teaching cases are usually targeted and unique, and are not suitable for all management courses. Therefore, these teachers have adopted participatory teaching methods in management teaching practice, but the quality of management classroom teaching is still not ideal.
2 the necessity of applying participatory teaching method in management teaching
2. 1 helps students to absorb and understand the teaching content of management.
Management as a basic course, its teaching content will involve the basic knowledge of many other disciplines, such as psychology, histology, sociology, economics, mathematics and so on. This knowledge is cross-linked in management class. Simply relying on the teacher to explain the theoretical knowledge repeatedly in class can not help students integrate the comprehensive content. Only by using participatory teaching methods, guiding students to participate and actively learning and understanding classroom teaching content can the teaching quality of management courses be improved.
2.2 Help to efficiently complete the teaching purpose of management courses.
Many majors offer basic courses of management, not to help students learn and memorize various concepts in management, but to help students gradually form and establish this idea of modern management through the study of management, and learn how to use the basic knowledge of management in practice during the learning process, so as to improve students' innovation and practical ability and help students integrate into society more smoothly. The teaching class of management course under participatory teaching method can play a positive role in cultivating students' management ability and organizational ability. In the process of innovative classroom teaching, students can be motivated to think positively and their interpersonal skills can be cultivated in the process of classroom communication.

Compared with traditional teaching methods, participatory teaching method requires management teachers to design various classroom teaching contents according to the teaching plan. At the same time, because most of the successful cases of participatory teaching method come from foreign schools, it is not suitable for the management class teaching content in China. Therefore, teachers need to consult a large number of materials according to the actual situation of students in our school, take the education plan as the guide, constantly innovate the teaching content of management courses, and promote the continuous improvement of teaching ability of management teachers.
3. Countermeasures to continuously improve the teaching quality of management under participatory teaching method
3. 1 Universities should encourage management teachers to apply participatory teaching methods in their teaching.
Promoting the application of participatory teaching method in management teaching needs the strong support of colleges and universities. Therefore, colleges and universities should encourage their management teachers to gradually apply participatory teaching method in the teaching process in a planned way, affirm teachers' efforts in preparing lessons, organize regular teaching exchanges with teachers of related majors, listen to other teachers' teaching process, exchange teaching experience and experience, and guide their management teachers to gradually become familiar with and participate in the application of participatory teaching method.
3.2 Incorporate participatory teaching method into traditional management teaching mode.
Although participatory teaching method has many advantages, we should not completely overthrow the traditional management teaching mode, but gradually add participatory teaching method to the traditional management teaching mode. The application of participatory teaching method is a gradual process. Although many management teachers have a certain understanding of this teaching method, many teaching teachers are confused about how to apply this teaching mode in their own teaching classes. The blending of the two modes will not only help teachers to gradually adapt to the teaching rhythm of participatory teaching method, but also help management teachers to collect students' responses to participatory teaching method and gradually adjust the teaching content of the course.
3.3 Innovative management course participatory teaching content
Management teachers should modify and innovate these cases by reading the successful cases of online participatory teaching method and various participatory teaching design contents, combining the teaching plan of our school and this course, collect and summarize the contents that students are interested in and closely related to their study and life, and introduce the materials that match the students' attempts into case design to complete the innovation of participatory teaching contents of this course.
4 conclusion
To sum up, participatory teaching method has played a positive role in improving the teaching quality of management courses and the teaching ability of management teachers. To promote the practical application of participatory teaching method in management teaching, the school needs to encourage and affirm the teaching achievements of management teachers in applying participatory teaching method, and also needs management teachers to refer to successful teaching cases and combine the actual situation of our students to constantly innovate classroom teaching forms and cases to continuously improve the teaching quality of management.
