SCD: Science Citation Database is a domestic citation database independently developed by the research group of China University, which owns all intellectual property rights. Since 2006, it has been used in the evaluation of China University and the graduate school of China University. University evaluation should be objective, fair and open. As an easy-to-measure performance evaluation tool, SCD should also have an intuitive attribute at a glance.
Scd periodicals belong to Class B periodicals, which are Chinese scientific citation databases and domestic citation databases with all intellectual property rights independently developed by the evaluation group of China University. SCD Journal * * * contains 1205 kinds of domestic periodicals, including 690 kinds of science (including science, engineering, agriculture and medicine) and 5 kinds of liberal arts (including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history and management).
SCD, as a part of the tool to realize the purpose of university evaluation, should first ensure fairness and justice for each evaluation object. As an easy-to-measure performance evaluation tool, SCD should also have an intuitive attribute at a glance.
Second, the difference between scd journals and general journals
1, scd is a domestic citation database independently developed by the research group of China University and owns all intellectual property rights. The general journal is only one kind of journal, and the academic level of scd journals is much higher than that of the general journal. Scd journals keep pace with core journals, and many people confuse SCD with CSCD. In fact, to some extent, the gold content of CSCD is higher than that of SCD, because CSCD is called "SCI of China", but it is higher than the general problem.
2. Generally speaking, ordinary periodicals are ordinary periodicals, which are divided into provincial periodicals and national periodicals, covering a wide range of knowledge. The choice of periodicals is very important for the publication of papers. When an author chooses a suitable periodical according to the actual requirements, it is often because of improper periodical selection that the paper cannot be published smoothly.
