QC group activities, also called quality control group activities and quality control circle activities. It refers to the on-site improvement, problem-solving, tackling and research conducted by the employees in production or technical posts by using quality management, statistical analysis, industrial engineering and innovative thinking around the business strategy, performance objectives and work tasks of the enterprise, aiming at improving quality, safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction, or reducing cost, consumption and accident rate.
QC group activities were initially mainly used to solve problems in quality control and quality improvement. Later, the problem-solving field of QC team gradually expanded to all aspects of enterprise operation and site management, such as cost, safety, service and efficiency, but the name of QC team has been used to this day.
