What's the difference between graduation thesis and graduation design?
The so-called graduation thesis generally refers to college graduation thesis, undergraduate graduation thesis (bachelor's degree graduation thesis), master's degree graduation thesis (master's degree thesis), doctoral degree graduation thesis (doctoral degree thesis) and so on. That is, the papers that need to be written and submitted before completing their studies are one of the important components of teaching or scientific research activities.

The so-called graduation project is a summative practical teaching link adopted in the last stage of the teaching process. Through the graduation project, students can comprehensively apply all kinds of theoretical knowledge and skills they have learned, and carry out comprehensive, systematic and strict technical and basic ability exercises.

Frankly speaking, graduation thesis is to let you establish an idea and prove it. Graduation design is to make an experimental scheme under the knowledge system you have learned, and finally present the experimental effect.

For a simple example, for example, if you are a fashion designer, your graduation thesis requires you to study a knowledge point, which is reflected in your writing in the form of putting forward arguments, proving arguments and summarizing arguments. For example, if you think that "the elements of popular clothing in Europe and America have less influence on Japanese consumers than those in Japan and South Korea" is your argument, then you need to prove your point of view through various evidences in the paper, and at the same time, summarize this phenomenon and put forward how to produce it when doing fashion design.

Graduation design requires you to design a scientific and reasonable professional internship plan through what you have learned. For example, if you design a suit, you can finally provide line drawings, color drafts, design instructions, clothing objects, model upper body effects and so on!

Simply put, the similarity between the two is that they are both a test of what you have learned to see if you can fully master what you have learned and can master it. But the difference is that the paper examines your knowledge system, which is embodied in a simple academic article. Basically, all kinds of subjects are articles, and teachers are given a sheet piling or an electronic document. The design examines your mastery of what you have learned and your proficiency in practical application. There are so many forms of expression, besides words, there must be objects. For students majoring in mechanical design, if they want to design a transmission system after graduation, they need to do design instructions (text content), floor plans, three-dimensional drawings, opening reports, task books, practice reports, manual texts, some experimental data, production processes, technological requirements and so on. If you want to study packaging design, you need design instructions, design drafts (including floor plan, packaging box stereogram, material and process labeling), packaging objects (including goods packaging boxes, handbags, first-class packaging, second-class packaging and instructions) and so on after graduation to make a set of high-grade tea packaging.

In this way, you should know that it is much more complicated and difficult to make a graduation project seriously than to write a paper ~!
