The problem of students' myopia is becoming more and more serious, which may affect the improvement of the overall national physical quality. Therefore, as early as 1986, Deng Xiaoping personally instructed: "The decline of primary and secondary school students' eyesight is a serious problem affecting the health of adolescents at present, which is related to the improvement of the health quality of the whole nation." The myopia of students in China is shocking, and children's eyes are in danger. Saving children's eyes has become an urgent problem. Relevant data show that for students, incorrect reading and writing posture is the main cause of myopia. Therefore, prevention is the key to students' vision problems.

Second, the definition of the concept

1, myopia

When the eyeball is at rest, after the same amount of light from 5 meters away is refracted by the eye, the focus just falls on the retina, which can form a clear image. An eye with this refractive state is called emmetropia. Its focus falls in front of the retina, and it cannot form a clear image on the retina accurately, which is called axial myopia. However, it has high adaptability to scattered light from nearby targets. As long as the target moves to a certain distance, you can get a clear view. Therefore, myopia can be corrected by concave lens, because the short-range target is clear and the long-range target is blurred.

2. Pupils are nearsighted

China is a high incidence area of myopia, and the prevalence rate of myopia among primary school students is increasing year by year, and there is a trend of youthfulness and high incidence. Moreover, the pressure of entering a higher school and environmental factors related to the modernization of life, such as the popularity of computers, will also have a lasting impact on the prevalence of myopia. The decline of primary school students' eyesight is an important problem affecting teenagers' health at present, which is related to the improvement of the health quality of the whole nation. Myopia is not only a medical problem, but also a social problem concerned by the masses. How to effectively prevent myopia and protect the eyesight of primary school students is an urgent problem to be solved at present, and it is also an important thing that everyone knows and participates in. However, at present, many people know so little about the prevention and treatment of myopia that they pay insufficient attention to prevention and improper treatment methods, which promotes the occurrence and development of myopia.

3. Pupils are nearsighted

The myopia rates of primary school students, junior high school students, senior high school students and college students are 22.78%, 55.22%, 70.34% and 76.74% respectively. In some places, the proportion of students who fail the college entrance examination and have professional restrictions is as high as 85%, most of which are caused by myopia. The incidence of myopia in primary school students is increasing year by year.

Third, the research objectives

Through investigation, it is found that the myopia rate of primary school students is rising, but primary school students do not pay attention to this phenomenon. Some people even think that they are nearsighted, just wear a pair of glasses. It doesn't matter if you are nearsighted. Many people often blame it on bad eye habits, such as improper reading distance, too dim light, long-term eye use and so on. However, medical research in recent years shows that unbalanced diet, lack of sleep and noise are also important factors that induce myopia in adolescents.

Fourth, the research content

In our school, myopia (especially the phenomenon of wearing glasses) among primary school students is rare, or even almost non-existent. This has caused a wrong understanding in the minds of our parents and teachers: myopia-it is still far from our students. This idea makes everyone only pay attention to the education of students' eye hygiene in general education, such as doing eye exercises, not using eyes for fatigue, not reading in strong or weak light, not lying down, not sleeping and so on. However, the cultivation of students' correct reading and writing posture is neglected, which makes students' incorrect reading and writing posture a common phenomenon: in a school, it is almost impossible to find out that 10% of students' reading and writing posture meets the standard. Once primary school students form habits and stereotypes, it is more difficult to correct this bad reading and writing posture. In this way, it is only a matter of time before students become nearsighted in the future. As a primary school teacher, I deeply realized this serious social problem in my years of teaching. It is our responsibility to cultivate and correct the poor reading and writing posture of primary school students, prevent myopia and protect students' eyesight. Based on this, we put forward the research of "preventing myopia and correcting poor reading and writing posture of primary school students".
