Accordingly, this poem was first published in Enlightened Mandarin Textbook. In My Children's Literature, Ye Lao clearly explained the situation of compiling this textbook: "I have done a lot in children's literature.
1932 I spent a whole year compiling a Mandarin textbook for elementary schools ... These 400 or so texts are very complicated in form and content. About half of them can be said to be creative, and the other half is based on re-creation. In short, none of them are ready-made and copied. "
