Its conference hall and the Four Seasons Hall form a "Hui" structure, and both ends are connected by doors, which are completely different in style and integrated. The oval conference hall is simple and generous: on the east wall, abstract murals composed of earth red and ivory wood carvings are quite modern. Under the soft light, rolling mountains, blazing sun and people's vigorous vitality, it just complements the seascape embroidery of the Western Wall. The arched entrance in the middle is made of Spanish "ivory white" marble, which is full of rugged, luxurious and elegant momentum in northern Europe. In the conference room, dark brown single person sofa is surrounded by a circle, and a large embroidery painting "Scenery of Haojiang River" is hung on the main wall. Macao's two sea-crossing bridges and modern buildings emerge from the picture symbolizing the blue sea.

Four Seasons Hall, separated by a wall, is more than 800 square meters, transformed from an open-air platform. Because all kinds of pipelines were originally laid, marble steps were formed after clever decoration. Climbing the stairs, you can see pavilions, lotus pond fountains, green trees and bamboos, and the beautiful scenery of Jiangnan gardens. The lighting device on the ceiling of the hall is particularly eye-catching in the pattern of "99 Return". The two painted corner pavilions on the south side are very eye-catching and have fine workmanship; On the top of Xiting, thirty-six golden dragons were painted. The East Pavilion is like a dragon's head, and the low wall closes the corridor, which integrates various architectural styles in China, winding like a dragon's body, and like a fairyland.

The Macau Pavilion and the subsequent Hong Kong Pavilion were designed by Professor Wang Weiyu from the School of Architecture of Tsinghua University. She told reporters that the overall plan was determined after consulting NPC deputies from Macao, CPPCC members and relevant people. The conference hall is mainly in Portuguese classical architectural style, while the Four Seasons Hall is mainly in Chinese garden architectural style. The two styles are integrated with each other, which reflects the special regional culture of Macao's long-term cultural exchange between China and the West. Thus, it has become the only local hall in the Great Hall of the People with both Chinese and Western architectural styles.

Since its completion three years ago, the Macao Guild Hall has held many activities, and the facilities, floors and walls are worn out and covered with dust. In order to welcome the return of Macao, the city hall decided to carry out a comprehensive renovation.

According to director Li, the original architectural style has not changed, and the focus is on transforming the ground. In particular, white marble steps were re-polished and individual yellow blocks were replaced. The new stone is consistent with the original stone in color and texture, crystal clear and beautiful.

Cleaning dust is another key point, and the roof of the conference hall has also been repainted. The cornices of the two pavilions in the Four Seasons Hall and the tops of the low walls in the hall are made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, and there is more dust. Several artificial bamboos and large chandeliers in the hall need cleaning. The dripping powder and gilding of the two pavilions are also redrawn. The renovated Four Seasons Hall is brand-new and beautiful.

The biggest change is to change the main background map of the conference hall. The original golden nanmu relief, which focused on the main scenic spots in Macao, was replaced by a large-scale embroidery painting "Overlooking the Haojiang River", and its wooden frame and pedestal were all replaced with marble, in order to keep consistent with the overall architectural style of the hall. This painting is 7 meters long and 2.7 meters high. It is made by four artisans in Shanghai according to color photos, using pure plush color thread, sewing, splicing, laying1450,000 stitches and carefully embroidering. The carpet laid in the main conference hall of Macau Hall has also been replaced by the beige fabric sofa from the 200 square meters pure wool carpet imported from New Zealand, replacing the original wide bean blue leather sofa. Director Li said, because "the leather sofa is too wide and not very practical. After being transformed into a cloth sofa, the original 16 seats will be increased to 36 seats, and more people can be accommodated in the hall. "

The renovation project has been completed. Director Li said, "During the National People's Congress, delegates in Macao will definitely discuss the government work report in the collective hall of Macao." In the past, NPC representatives from Macao were arranged to participate in group discussions in Guangdong Hall. "Now they finally have their own base." .
