Those who have not obtained a master's degree will be disqualified from applying for the on-the-job postgraduate degree of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. In-service graduate students of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics who have obtained degrees shall have their master's degrees revoked and their master's degree certificates cancelled.

For on-the-job graduate students of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics who violate the relevant state regulations or practise fraud and are found in the process of applying for a master's degree, their qualifications for this application will be cancelled and their applications will no longer be accepted within three years. If an on-the-job graduate student of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics is found after obtaining a master's degree certificate, his decision to grant a master's degree shall be revoked and his master's degree certificate shall be revoked.
