Form a good habit by yourself.
I used to be a careless girl, and I have developed many habits like others since I was a child. Good habits are gone, but a lot of bad habits. For example, doing homework while playing, going home without washing your hands and so on. Worst of all, I don't like reading. When my mother saw me like this, she couldn't wait, so she moved in to "save the troops"-begging her grandmother for advice.

Boy, grandma came, and if nothing else, I immediately developed a good habit of reading.

I was a little unhappy at first, but I didn't dare to object, so I had to read literary magazines such as children's literature and Yilin. Unexpectedly, gradually, the philosophical stories, reportage and humor in the book began to attract me deeply. Over time, my eloquence has been improved to some extent, and my English expression ability has also been improved.

After a while, I feel that these literary magazines alone can no longer meet my needs. My habit urges me to read more books as soon as possible. So, I turned my attention to that voluminous novel. Starting from the four classical novels China, I experienced the following experiences: the gathering of heroes in Taoyuan, the first meritorious service of the Yellow Scarf Uprising, a piece of absurd remarks and a bitter tear, Zhu Bajie's treatment of the Monkey King, and Song Wu's drunken beating of Jiang Menshen. Then I read Wu Zixu and Sima Guang's Purple Tongzhi Sword, and Grandma Bing Xin's Zhong Jing said Yue. By reading these books, I have a more comprehensive understanding of the history of China, and these "thick bricks" made me shine in the ancient poetry examination.

After seeing China, I can't help seeing the world. Then, I set out from China, crossed Russia, passed through Norway, Denmark, Germany and France, crossed the English Channel to Britain, crossed the Atlantic Ocean to Canada, went to the United States, and finally crossed the ocean to Japan on the east coast of the Pacific Ocean. During this almost "traveling around the world" journey, I got to know Nikolai Gogol, Dickens, Jack London, Shakespeare, Conan Doyle, Haruki Murakami and other literary giants, as well as Nobel Prize in Literature winners such as Tagore and Ji Bolun, and collected more than 50 books. Through these authors, I learned a lot of exotic customs, a lot of writing methods, and a lot of worldly wisdom. What's more gratifying is that my composition level has improved obviously. Since junior high school, my composition has been deducted seven or eight points, and by the third grade, my composition is often only deducted two or three points. I even learned to quote classics! Many people describe reading these novels as "gnawing", but I think wearing them on me should be "appreciating". Because "gnawing" is just a kind of mechanical reading, it seems to be forced and reluctant to read, and it does not get happiness from it. And I read, not only reading, but also reading carefully, reading once, then reading the second time and the third time. I not only learned knowledge from it, but also got happiness. Therefore, it is no exaggeration to use "appreciation".

Having said that, I can't help but thank my grandmother, who made me form this good habit of loving books. Although I was unhappy at first, I feel really good now!

Now, I have become addicted to books, and I am really anxious to be with him who won't let me read it. The reading content is already a science book. I think before long, my scientific knowledge will advance by leaps and bounds, just like my literary knowledge.

Alas, who let me have such a good habit of "study hard, study hard, study hard"?
