1. Eliminate tension and distraction
Tension and distraction are the biggest factors that affect students' concentration. Therefore, when cultivating students' concentration, teachers should first let students learn to eliminate inner tension and distractions before studying or doing things. We can get rid of students' nervousness and distractions from the following points: 1. Teach students to take a deep breath. Deep breathing can effectively eliminate the tension and distractions in your heart. Many qigong practitioners should take several deep breaths before practicing qigong, so as to eliminate the tension and distractions in their hearts and make their mood in a natural and calm state. So, before class, before exams and so on. Let students take a few more deep breaths, which can effectively eliminate the tension and distractions in their hearts. 2. Make the teaching process "interesting". The author has made such a survey that 83% of students who are easily distracted in class are bored with the teacher's teaching, and some are bored and want to go somewhere else. Therefore, teachers try to make teaching activities "interesting" in teaching, which is also an effective way to improve students' concentration and eliminate distractions. 3. More participatory teaching. According to the survey, among the students who are easily distracted in class, 12% are neglected in the teaching process and do not participate in the teaching activities. Therefore, participatory teaching is another way to improve students' attention and eliminate distractions.
2. Do "three hearts" in one.
The unity of "three hearts" means that what you think in your heart, what you hear in your ears and what you see in your eyes are all concentrated on a certain point or an activity. This is the method that qigong practitioners use to stay in the abdomen, and its purpose is to concentrate all their consciousness on the abdomen and reach the realm of no self. We can use this method to cultivate students' concentration. In teaching, integrating "three hearts" is the best way to improve students' concentration. In teaching practice, it is found that students who integrate "three hearts" into their studies have significantly improved their grades.
In teaching, teachers can let students practice the unity of "three hearts". For example, listening and speaking exercises in Chinese teaching can train students in this way: Listening requires students to (1) accurately remember the original words; (2) be able to understand the meaning of the original words; (3) Whether the voiced words are completely expressed. Say, ask students to do: (1) Think about what to say; (2) how do you say it? Only others can understand what I mean; (3) I say this, whether others are willing to listen. Often this or similar training, unconsciously let students achieve the "three hearts" in one.
3. Do only one thing at a time
Let students get rid of mental stress and distraction and the unity of "three hearts", and at the same time, let students develop the habit of doing only one thing at a time. Goethe once said, "One cannot ride two horses at the same time. If you ride this, you will lose that. Smart people will put aside the requirements of distraction, focus on one thing at a time, and do one thing well. " In teaching practice, the author has done such an experiment: let students do only one thing at a time and two things at a time. It is found that the results are very different. In the former, more than 90% of students can do one thing well, while in the latter, almost no students can do both. Therefore, doing one thing at a time is an important measure to cultivate students' concentration and improve work efficiency.
4. Develop good brain habits
In the process of cultivating students' concentration, we should not only let students get rid of tension and distractions, but also let them do one thing at a time, and let them develop the good habit of using their brains. If our brain is always in a state of fatigue, it will affect our concentration. Let students form a good habit of using their brains, which is another measure to improve their concentration. Teachers can help students develop good brain habits from the following aspects: 1. Arrange appropriate teaching content and homework. Appropriate teaching content and homework are conducive to the development of students' brains, and less is not enough, but more is the opposite; 2. Can't stay up late and sleep more than 8 hours a day; 3. Reading time should not exceed 50 minutes at a time; When you have a headache or feel tired, don't read or think.
In a word, cultivating and improving students' concentration is an indispensable part of teaching. In teaching, as long as students get rid of tension and distractions, integrate "three minds", do only one thing at a time, and form a good habit of using their brains, they will soon achieve the purpose of improving students' concentration and receive unexpected teaching results.
