In any of the following three cases, the marriage is invalid:
1, consanguineous marriage, in marriage, people who are related by blood are forbidden to get married. The so-called relatives refer to lineal blood relatives and collateral blood relatives within three generations. This is mainly because consanguineous marriage will affect the development of offspring, resulting in congenital malformation or rare genetic diseases. But in rural areas, many people think that the marriage between cousins depends on relatives to add relatives, which will bring the relationship between the two families closer. This idea is wrong and must be stopped;
Before marriage, people suffered from AIDS and other diseases, but they were not cured. Nowadays, many people will have a check-up before getting married to see if they have genetic diseases. This is responsible for yourself, the other half, and the marriage. The diseases that can't get married are: severe mental illness and severe mental retardation. The legal infectious diseases in the onset period include untreated syphilis, gonorrhea, AIDS, open tuberculosis and leprosy. If you suffer from any of them, then such a marriage is invalid;
3. For those who get married under the legal age, according to Chinese laws, the age of marriage for men should not be earlier than 22 years old, and that for women should not be earlier than 20 years old. However, in rural areas, many people drop out of school very early and have weddings at home, ranging from 16 to 17.
