Possible innovation of 1
In view of the present situation and internal and external environment of China Airlines, and based on the principle of proceeding from reality and focusing on the future, this paper is committed to the preliminary exploration from the following aspects:
(1), analyzes the key strategies to improve the competitiveness of China Airlines from three aspects: internal, inter-industry and international market.
(2) At the company level, the main cost of airline operation comes from jet fuel. This paper introduces the theory of reducing vertical difference, which can reduce the cost of jet fuel by improving route density, optimizing flights and improving jet fuel utilization efficiency.
(3) Industry level: China Airlines can improve economies of scale and network effects through mergers and acquisitions. The existing mergers and acquisitions (such as the merger of Xinjiang Airlines and Northwest Airlines by China Southern Airlines, the reorganization of Shanghai Airlines by China Eastern Airlines, and the recent holding of Shenzhen Airlines by Air China) have achieved initial results, and the resource integration and efficiency improvement after the reorganization need to be further strengthened.
(4) Join the international aviation alliance to realize resource sharing. This paper analyzes the necessity and feasibility of China's airlines joining the aviation alliance, and analyzes the profit situation after joining the alliance by game theory, trying to find a balanced solution of the alliance's benefit distribution.
2 shortcomings
(1), the understanding of foreign airlines is more limited to superficial experience such as websites, and the understanding of specific data of foreign airlines is also limited, so we can't compare it with China Airlines well, and we can only compare it with some specific indicators.
(2) In the long run, China Airlines' entry into the international alliance will help China Airlines to narrow the gap with large international airlines and enhance their competitiveness in the international market. However, due to the short time of joining the alliance, there is a lack of corresponding data on the impact on the company after joining the alliance.
(3) The air passenger transport industry has a wide range and many problems. However, due to the limitation of research ability and professional knowledge, the research on the problem is not deep enough.
