Through systematic analysis, we use the Visual Basic development tool of Microsoft, and make use of all kinds of object-oriented development tools provided by it, especially the data window mode, which is convenient, simple and direct to operate the database of intelligent objects. First, we set up the system application prototype in a short time, and then start the prototype system to make necessary iterations, and constantly modify and improve it until we form a removable system that customers are satisfied with.

The topic of this graduation thesis is small supermarket management system, the main purpose of which is to study and learn the management and operation of supermarkets on the basis of supermarket invoicing module.

According to the required functions of the system, it is determined to use Windows XP as the development platform, ACCESS as the background database, and VB 6.0 as the development tool. By using the ideas and methods of software engineering, the system is analyzed and designed by the structured life cycle method as a whole, and the system is realized by the rapid prototyping method.

This system consists of purchase management module, database management module, sales management module and administrator module. Composition, classification of all kinds of information in supermarket management, programming, more comprehensive functions.
