Reflections on management reading
In the past, management was only considered as an abstract concept. But since reading the book Management, I feel that management is closely related to our life.
First of all, let me talk about this book. It is divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction, which introduces the definition, function, nature, object and method of management in detail. Let us have a general orientation of management and management science, and let us feel lucky to have the opportunity to study and study management science, because it will accompany us all our lives.
The last five chapters introduce the five functions of management in detail. The first one is decision-making. Putting it in the first place shows its importance. Although most of the decisions in the book are related to enterprises, I think they are also instructive to the decisions in our lives. As the book says, decision-making is attributed to nature and society. The decision-making method has the greatest influence on me. There are three methods of collective decision-making: brainstorming, nominal group technology and Delphi technology. In fact, these three methods are also three ways to ask us to learn knowledge. Brainstorming creates an atmosphere of speaking freely and thinking freely. When solving problems again, you can not only bravely express your creative ideas, but also speed up your thinking and improve your language skills. This is a method that I appreciate more. I think the nominal group method is a method to fully stimulate the potential, and you need to mobilize all your energy to find evidence for your point of view. I think it must be based on the unique ideas of the team members. In other words, Delphi technology is a way to seek advice from teachers or professionals. All the above three methods can be our effective learning methods, which are worth learning from.
The second article is about organization. I think this article is teaching us about enterprises. It introduces the management methods and personnel of the enterprise, so that we can fully understand its operation and development. What attracts us most is staffing, which introduces the tasks, procedures and principles of staffing, as well as the standards, procedures and methods for selecting and hiring managers, as well as evaluation and training. These are of great significance to our future employment and are worth studying.
The third article is about leadership. He introduced the qualities that leaders should possess and their importance to the company. It also tells us how to be a good leader.
The fourth is control, which is closely related to information. Information is the premise of management control and even all management activities. Learning to control in life is a great thing. When you master the latest information in your life, you can arrange your life reasonably, so that your life will blossom and the pace of life will continue in an orderly way. Management enterprises need to constantly update the latest information. Isn't that life?
The last one is innovation. An enterprise needs technological innovation, institutional innovation, hierarchical structure innovation, cultural innovation and so on. Innovation is the guarantee of enterprise's eternal vitality. For us, we also need innovation. We can't live in our own life style forever, but we should keep up with the development of the times, constantly improve ourselves and live a wonderful life.
Although most of this management book is about the management of enterprises, from the management of enterprises, I also realized that I should manage my own life. Only in this way can we enrich our lives and have less regrets.
