1, internship unit summary:

Tianjin TEDA Alps Logistics Co., Ltd. Shanghai Branch is a logistics company mainly engaged in the production of electronic products, warehousing services, cargo transportation, distribution, customs declaration and inspection. The company is large in scale and widely distributed. Specifically, there are Dalian TEDA Alpine Logistics Co., Ltd., Tianjin TEDA Alpine Logistics Co., Ltd. and Northeast North China Dalian Branch; In East China, there are branches in Shanghai, Ningbo, Taicang, Wuxi, Suzhou and Hangzhou. There are Guangdong Alpine Logistics Co., Ltd. and Alpine Logistics Hong Kong Co., Ltd. in South China. Every branch has a direct express bus, which enables goods to circulate at high speed. The three advantages of BRT, low cost, high safety and high speed, are very popular with customers.

Now I will introduce my work in Songjiang office of Tianjin TEDA Alps Logistics Co., Ltd. Shanghai Branch. Songjiang office is mainly composed of four departments: customer service department, customs department, storage department and transportation department.

The following is an introduction to the four major departments:

1. Customer service.

The customer service department is also often called the business department. Mainly engaged in receiving orders and goods. You can communicate with customers by telephone, internet, etc. Inform customers of the documents required for customs declaration and inspection, make documents according to customer information and store them in the company system. Finally, the materials needed for customs declaration and inspection are handed over to the relevant personnel of the customs department.

2. Customs department.

Customs is divided into two parts: online declaration and on-site declaration. The personnel of the customs department mainly sort out the customs declaration and inspection materials, and do a good job of guaranteeing the bottom and filing. In addition, it is also responsible for making delivery orders and forwarding them to the warehousing department.

3. Storage Department.

The warehousing department mainly carries out 5S warehousing management, warehousing, acceptance, picking, warehousing, distribution, inventory and other practical operations. 5S refers to cleaning, sweeping, sorting, rectifying and personal cultivation.

4. Transport sector.

The transportation department is mainly responsible for dispatching drivers' vehicle delivery.

Among the four departments mentioned above, the customs department, warehousing department and transportation department are all around the customer service department. The customer service department is the bridge between the company and customers, and customers' complaints, suggestions or inquiries are fed back to the warehouse site through the customer service department.

2. Function introduction:

Songjiang office is located in Songjiang export processing zone, with powerful and comprehensive functions. Mainly manifested in having first-generation and second-generation qualifications; That is, international and domestic business qualifications, road transport qualifications, agent declaration qualifications, agent inspection qualifications, maritime transport qualifications, land transport and air transport qualifications. The number of employees is also quite strong, and most of them have experience or professional knowledge and skills in logistics.

(1) Hardware:

The warehouse area is large, and land transportation, air transportation and sea transportation can be freely selected. For customers in the region or close to each other, you can choose a small car to deliver goods quickly and realize door-to-door service. For electronic parts with long distance and high shock-proof requirements, air transportation can be chosen to transport the goods to the required places accurately and in time.

(2) Software:

The company has two systems, ACCS and AVMS, running at the same time. ACCS is a data management system developed by the company itself. Practical operations closely related to the site, such as goods warehousing, pre-warehousing, warehousing and write-off, can be reflected in ACCS. AVMS system is a multifunctional platform, which can connect customs, manufacturers, suppliers and other parties and exchange data with each other. Every ticket of goods operated in ACCS system must be imported into this system in time, so its transparency is very high.

3. The core of the company:

Try to meet the needs of customers and implement three modes: kanban management, VMI and JIT. The so-called kanban management is to deliver the goods directly to the manufacturer's production line; VMI is to manage the existing inventory of its goods for suppliers; JIT stands for JUST IN TIME, which means timely delivery.

4, the content of the internship:

My internship in Songjiang warehouse is a warehouse keeper, and my specific operations include unloading, receiving, distributing goods, warehousing, printing and placing cash tickets, cleaning, cleaning, moving warehouses, distributing goods, preliminary inspection, loading and delivery. Real-time operation on site is consistent with ACCS system. For example, after the on-site goods are actually put into storage, the system should put them into storage immediately; After the on-site library transfer, it is also necessary to change the system library transfer immediately; After the system prints out the picking list, the distribution work should be done in order. My present job is the most basic operation in the warehousing process. I hope I can learn more warehousing experience in my future work.

Through these months of internship, I have a deeper understanding of logistics and warehousing. China's logistics warehousing industry is not as developed as that of foreign countries, and there are many reasons that restrict the development of China's logistics industry. The underdeveloped logistics industry has brought unnecessary burdens to our lives and reduced our quality of life.

Let me briefly talk about my analysis of warehousing, inventory, supply chain and informatization:

1, inventory has an important impact on enterprises and logistics.

At present, many enterprises in China, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, are backward in logistics facilities and equipment, with a low degree of informatization, and many logistics concepts and equipment cannot keep up with the pace of the world. Is this really just the gap between ideal and reality? What is the reason?

Nowadays, enterprises pay more and more attention to inventory management, whether it is manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers or other types of industrial enterprises. Because the proportion of inventory assets in the total assets of enterprises is considerable, reducing inventory is one of the fastest ways to greatly reduce the demand for working capital. Inventory turnover turns assets into profits, and the faster the inventory turnover, the better the rate of return. For example, the return on assets and other aspects of the efficiency of the use of funds are increasingly affecting organizations.

In the company, inventory plays the following five roles: 1, which makes it possible for the company to achieve economies of scale; 2. Balance supply and demand; 3. Make manufacturing specialization possible; 4. Protect the company from less agency demand and order cycle; 5. It acts as a buffer between key interfaces of distribution channels.

In a sense, warehousing management occupies a core position in logistics management. This is because warehouses always appear at the junction of all aspects of logistics, such as purchasing and production, primary processing and sorting of production, production and sales, wholesale and retail, different modes of transportation and so on. Warehousing is the manifestation of the imbalance in all aspects of logistics, and inventory is also a means to solve this imbalance. The warehousing link concentrates all contradictions in the integration of upstream and downstream processes, and inventory management is to realize the integration of logistics processes. If the position of warehouse management in logistics is described in the language of operational research, it can be said that under the condition of constrained transportation conditions, the optimal inventory (including layout) scheme is sought as a control means to achieve the goal of the lowest total cost of logistics. In many specific cases, the integration and optimization of logistics actually comes down to the scheme design and operation control of warehousing.

2. Information is an important factor in inventory and supply chain.

Due to the lack of time and information, many companies have not adopted comprehensive and continuous analysis and inventory policy planning. One of the reasons why many companies are afraid of supply chain is that there is no good information system.

1. Information and inventory

Inventory is increasingly regarded as a logistics process rather than a static storage technology. Dynamic inventory system makes inventory more than a short-term material retention process by applying buffer station, accumulation area and some related operations. Comprehensive inventory control is the key to efficient warehouse management. Warehouse management software WMS provides a real-time inventory management based on minicomputer, pc and server, and integrates them into a software package. Inventory software can track when, where and by whom tools are taken away, so the inventory is almost reduced by half.

2. Information and supply chain

The formation of supply chain and the rising role of supply chain management, in which logistics management is its main component. The problem to be solved is to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of the whole supply chain, mainly through the information feedback service for upstream and downstream enterprises to improve the coordination and overall efficiency of the supply chain, such as the coordination between production enterprises and sales enterprises, and the coordination between suppliers and buyers. Logistics information system is not only the blood circulation system of supply chain, but also the central nervous system. The basis of supply chain is to establish a mutually beneficial mechanism, but this mechanism needs certain technical solutions to ensure, and the main function of information system here is the means to realize this mutually beneficial mechanism. For example, the seller's inventory is managed by the supplier's automatic replenishment system, and the manufacturer arranges the production plan according to the seller's market forecast.

The modernization of warehouses is low, the equipment is outdated and backward, and many of them are still in the original state of manual operation, which is inefficient. Goods can't get in, can't get out, stay in the warehouse for too long, or are damaged, moldy and seriously lost due to poor storage, which increases the logistics cost. This is related to the economic strength and long-term planning of enterprises. Enterprises only use it as a place to store goods, so the requirements for equipment modernization are very low. Moreover, the cheap labor force makes the enterprise give up the plan to transform the equipment, and the manual work makes people not idle. The idea of "not afraid of slowness, but afraid of standing" is deeply rooted in people's hearts and reduces work efficiency.

On the one hand, business personnel in enterprises lack sufficient knowledge, experience and operational ideas on how to improve their business and management level by using information technology; On the other hand, there is a shortage of information talents, especially those who know both business and technology. These two aspects make it difficult to implement and promote informatization, which requires the leadership and execution of senior leaders. Especially in the trial stage of the system, the application operation and the standardized management of employees need an iron fist. But in practical work, the effect is often not good.

At present, the internal enterprises in the warehouse system generally rely on a non-automatic paper-based system to record and track the goods entering and leaving the warehouse, so as to manually remember and implement the internal management of the warehouse. For the whole storage area, the uncertainty of human factors will lead to low labor efficiency and serious waste of human resources. At the same time, with the increase of goods quantity and warehousing frequency, this mode will seriously affect the normal operation efficiency. However, with the rapid development of commodity circulation, the existing computer-managed warehouse management system has been difficult to meet the real-time requirements of warehouse management. More and more enterprises begin to pay attention to the solution of wireless communication network. The warehouse solution based on wireless communication technology not only solves the liquidity problem of warehouse managers, but also realizes real-time data transmission. Therefore, we must speed up the design and development of modern warehouse management system, because this is the guarantee for enterprises to improve their core competitiveness.

Nowadays, warehouse operation and inventory control operation have become diversified and complex, and manual processing is very difficult. If you can't ensure the correct purchase, acceptance and delivery, it will lead to excessive inventory, delay delivery time, increase operating costs and lose customers. The use of bar code technology, combined with information processing technology, can ensure the accuracy of inventory, ensure the necessary inventory level and the movement of materials in the warehouse, and cooperate with procurement to ensure the best inflow, preservation and outflow of products.

Step 3: Solution

Effective inventory management requires appropriate processes, personnel and technology. The future inventory management should not only rely on the conservative management methods in the past, but also introduce innovative ideas and establish a cross-functional or even cross-enterprise performance evaluation system. Inventory should flow, not only in warehouses and factories, but also from static inventory management to dynamic inventory management, from inventory management to information management, from physical inventory to virtual inventory. The warehouse is not only a "reservoir" but also a "marshalling station". These changes mean that the supply chain from suppliers to customers needs to be managed and integrated in inventory management, to borrow a slogan: move, be more exciting.

1. Change of ideas from management to front line

Senior leaders of enterprises must actively participate in the strategic formulation and planning of informatization projects, and need to learn how to carry out the overall design and planning of informatization and use information technology to transform the best practices of business processes.

Change the transfer of inventory information in the enterprise to "batch" or "running errands". Employees should know the benefits of information technology, instead of worrying that information will replace their jobs, and should constantly cultivate and develop themselves.

2. Hire logistics informatization experts to give special guidance to the enterprise's inventory informatization. It is necessary to reasonably select the system platform and functional coverage of application logic in strict accordance with the enterprise's own needs, and at the same time, it is necessary to see the systematic, overall and holistic nature of information construction.

First of all, review the past operation of the warehouse and check the accuracy of warehouse inventory, delivery inventory, service level and comprehensive production capacity. Then, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the warehouse to determine the information needed to complete the warehouse function. If receiving goods, you need to know the empty storage point information of the warehouse. At the same time, it is also necessary to check what data is available and what types of data need to be collected to establish the system (sometimes it is decided whether to install an automatic data acquisition system according to the situation). Through investigation, we can decide the scope of warehouse improvement and whether to adopt computer warehouse management information system.

3. Recruit and train relevant personnel

From the post point of view, due to the strong technical and professional nature of logistics informatization, leaders who need to organize enterprises to carry out logistics informatization construction should have high quality, including good education and practical background of computer-related majors, good management and organizational skills, and be very familiar with the business processes, business models and development strategies of their logistics enterprises, and be able to correctly and comprehensively understand what information systems are needed for business development of enterprises.

The purpose of training is to make the warehouse management system work normally. Therefore, the managers of warehouse management system must train their employees. The training target is not only new employees, but also old warehouse employees. Only well-trained employees can correctly implement and operate the management system and give full play to its advantages. All development training plans must be documented, including training deployment, process, objectives, training targets, training time and place, training scale, training materials, teacher sources, examination syllabus, in-depth training plan, etc. And consciously create a mechanism aimed at encouraging warehouse employees to compete equally in the training process.

4. Choose the appropriate warehouse management system.

When choosing a warehouse management system, we should first consider the function of the product itself, and pay attention to the following principles in this selection process:

System openness and expansibility

customer experience

Related product lines and development direction

After-sales service can't be ignored. When choosing a supplier, the performance of the product itself is very important, but its after-sales execution and service must not be ignored. A good system not only has perfect functions, but also can bring good suggestions to the operation process of the warehouse. In the process of implementation, the quality of the implementation team is particularly important. In the system implementation members, there are both technicians who are familiar with the products and project managers who have rich experience in project implementation. In addition, world-class software vendors also have their own project implementation methods. These implementation methods have been experienced by projects all over the world, thus ensuring the smooth implementation of the project.

4, the system transformation problem

Software systems have a certain life cycle. During the service period, the service work is particularly important for the logistics system software that has been developed and put into actual production and operation, because every management position and actual field operation position of logistics need to communicate with this system. Once the system is wrong or paralyzed for various reasons, it needs timely maintenance by relevant technicians. Therefore, when an enterprise's software system has problems and its own system maintenance personnel can't solve the problems, the last resort is to let the original software developer provide corresponding technical support services. In addition, when the enterprise's logistics software system starts running, with the development of the enterprise and the development and changes of information technology and platform hardware and software equipment itself, when the existing software system may need to be upgraded, from the aspects of protecting investment and saving investment, the original software developer is naturally the first choice to provide this service.

China logistics makes us have to face up to the difficulties we are facing. There are still many shortcomings in the construction of modern logistics management system, including warehouse, especially in the establishment of warehouse management mode and warehouse management, which is still in the stage of manual operation management. The backward warehouse management mode and facilities are increasingly difficult to meet the growing demand of goods distribution in enterprises, so it is inevitable to change the warehouse management mode and realize the automation of warehouse management by using advanced computer network communication technology.

Third, summary.

The so-called material storage management system refers to the high generalization of the principles and methods to guide the work according to the requirements of the material storage management system, thus forming an effective and complete management system. Material storage management system is a solid foundation to ensure the normal operation of material management.

The idea of establishing material storage management system originally came from the management method of ISO9000 standard. One of the important documents in ISO9000 document system is the quality manual, and the material storage management system is actually the concrete application of ISO9000 quality manual in the material management of manufacturing enterprises, which clearly and clearly stipulates the general principles of enterprise material storage management.

Material warehouse management system is a management system that summarizes the guiding principles according to the system composition of material warehouse management. The composition of the material storage system mainly includes eight aspects: five management and acceptance tasks, such as material classification, inventory control, finished product warehousing, delayed materials and waste materials, procurement, warehousing, and material receiving and dispatching.

All aspects of the material warehouse management system have stipulated a series of management objectives. Among them, the classified management of materials can plan materials in an orderly way, and inventory control can make the materials in storage occupy the least amount of money. The purchased materials are put into storage after acceptance, and the materials are delivered out, as shown in the figure.

I work in the company as a warehouse site operator and have a clear understanding of the company. This company is a logistics company. My major in school is customs declaration and international freight transportation, and my work type can be said to correspond to my major. Internship in this company is a supplement to what I have learned, a further sublimation of what I have learned in school, and has a vital impact on my stepping into society and life.

Time is not long. I have been in the company for more than three months. During my internship, my leaders and colleagues not only seriously guided our work, but also paid special attention to our lives and gave me enough tolerance, support and help. Here, I want to thank all the people who have helped me during this time. Thanks to them for making me progress, I will live up to their expectations, work hard and study hard, and make greater contributions to society in the future.

Finally, through my internship and my simple understanding of the logistics industry in China, I come to the conclusion that the logistics industry in China is not very mature, and I will continue to make efforts to enrich myself with what I have learned and make contributions to the logistics industry in China. Although the level of China's logistics industry is not impressive at present, I firmly believe that China will prosper and China's logistics industry will flourish and reach the international leading level!
