Liu He, the king of Changyi, is greedy for wine and lust, likes hunting and doesn't ask about politics. As a result, people are overworked and complain a lot. Wang Ji tried to remonstrate, but it was not adopted.
After Zhao Han's death, General Huo Guang came to power and Liu He was made emperor. Wang Ji once again advised Liu He to be respectful and diligent, but he was still rejected.
