Dr Zang Jason Wu has been devoted to the research of immune system diseases for a long time. 1993, as the first author, published the research results of T cell vaccine in treating autoimmune diseases, and expounded the effect and mechanism of T cell vaccine treatment for the first time. The article was published in Science magazine, which attracted the attention of colleagues all over the world. During this period, Zang Wujing systematically studied all kinds of pathogenic T lymphocytes in autoimmune diseases, and gradually formed a research system on the pathogenesis of autoimmune T lymphocytes from three different levels: disease model, cell function and molecular mechanism. After returning to China in 2002, he worked in Jiao Tong University Medical College and Chinese Academy of Sciences successively, leading the team to further deepen the field of autoimmune diseases. He has published a large number of excellent papers in top international academic journals such as Nature-Immunology, Nature-Medicine, Immunology, etc., and won the continuous scientific research support of the 863 Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the major projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the major projects of the Ministry of Education and the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. After returning to China, Zang's scientific research work won the second prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the Hundred Talents Program of China Academy of Sciences and the Pujiang Talents Program of Shanghai for many times.
