Since 2000, more than one monograph 10 has been published and more than 200 academic papers have been published. China STN Digital Music Education Conference, China Music Education Society Composition Theory Teaching Seminar and other large-scale academic conferences have been successfully held, and more than 80 music works have been published. Among them, Kang Jiandong's original music "The Sound of Suona on the Yellow River Bank" won the national "New Broadcasting Song" gold medal, the second Dunhuang Literature and Art Award in Gansu Province 1992, the folk music ensemble "Yugu Dance" won the second national national orchestral exhibition and broadcast excellent works, and "Gansu Style" won the TV musical 1999 China New Year Concert. Li's dance music "By the Daga River" 1992 won the second prize in the National Folk Music and Dance Competition and the first Dunhuang Literature and Art Award in Gansu Province. Wang Wenlan's vocal works "There are many fruits and vegetables in my hometown", "Yellow River, Mother River" and "Towards Tomorrow" won the first, second and third prizes at the provincial level respectively.

He has also compiled and published a number of monographs, such as Simple Repair Method for Piano, Organ and Accordion by Mao Chunru, Dictionary of Music Knowledge by Gao Tiankang (won the first book exhibition and the second book exhibition and evaluation award for electronic piano performance), Piano Impromptu Accompaniment Arrangement by Qi, Basic Knowledge of Music and Music History of China, etc. 1993 won the third prize in Gansu social science, Huang Tengpeng's History of Foreign Music (1996) won the first prize in Gansu social science, Kang Jianmin's Practical Manual for Band (1996) won the second prize in Gansu social science, and Hu He co-edited Chorus for Chinese and Foreign Children.

In addition, the TV movie "Introduction to Flowers", directed and explained by Kan Jingyi, was broadcast on the radio program of 1979 for the 30th anniversary of the National Day, which aroused great interest from the literary and art circles inside and outside the province, especially folk musicians. Some sent congratulatory letters, some asked for information, and were rated as excellent programs in CCTV program selection. The Dunhuang musical instrument slides collected and produced by Zhang Ruxian were awarded as excellent teaching materials at the review meeting of audio-visual teaching materials of Northwest and Southwest Normal University in 1985. Zheng's "chromatic dulcimer" won two patents of design and new utility model from the State Patent Office, and 1995 won the second prize and the gold medal at the provincial level in the 4th China Arts Festival. Feng Xinning and others developed "Electronic organ input microcomputer notation and retrieval", which won the third prize of provincial scientific and technological progress and the second prize of 1992 computer application achievement.
