Lin Peng's main achievements
1. Establish a research base for coastal mangrove wetlands, reveal the characteristics of "three highs" (high productivity, high return rate and high decomposition rate) of mangroves, and provide a basis for developing estuary and bay agriculture.

2. Establish mangrove restoration ecological engineering system.

3. Establish a mangrove germplasm base in Jiulong River Estuary.

4. Reveal that mangroves have the benefits of resisting global change and preventing and reducing disasters. For the first time, mangrove plants such as Hedysarum hedysari showed negative methane flux.

5. The genetic characteristics of mangrove population in China were revealed by using molecular ecology technology.

6. Establish a new viewpoint of mangrove resistance, viviparous and land-sea migration and evolution.

7. Participated in the formulation of UNESCO's International Mangrove Charter, and defined the standard of real mangrove species in China.

8. Participated in the compilation of the representative work Vegetation in China, including three parts: Vegetation Types, Zoning and Mangroves in South Subtropical Zone, edited Vegetation in Fujian, and participated in the compilation of Comprehensive Agricultural Zoning in Fujian.

9. Presided over the scientific investigation and monograph editing of nature reserves.

Professor Lin Peng independently wrote and participated in the compilation and publication of 14 books, and published more than 3 10 papers at home and abroad. Scientific research achievements won the second prize of the National Natural Science Award 1 (in cooperation with other units), the third prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award 1, four second prizes of the Ministry (province), and eight third prizes, *** 14.
