20 13 Writing Rules for Graduation Thesis (Design) in Spring

Writing graduation thesis is an indispensable part of distance education teaching plan. It is an important training and exercise to use the basic theories, knowledge and skills learned to analyze and solve problems and combine theory with practice. It is also a comprehensive assessment of students' academic level and research ability.

Graduation thesis (design) is an independent course in the teaching plan. Undergraduate students can only write a thesis (design) if they pass the course examination and get corresponding credits according to the teaching plan. In order to organize the writing of graduation thesis (design), standardize the writing procedures and requirements of graduation thesis, and ensure the smooth completion of graduation thesis (design), these rules are formulated:

First, the basic requirements for writing a thesis

(1) The writing of graduation thesis is a creative work, and every student must take it seriously. In the whole process of thesis writing, students should listen to the teacher's guidance, give full play to their subjective initiative, and finish their own papers independently within the specified time. It is forbidden to copy other people's research results, cut and paste online articles and make them. If similar plots are found, all papers are unqualified.

(two) comprehensive application of theoretical knowledge, close contact with practice, the theoretical point of view is correct; Strive to have the author's own views and innovations, with clear arguments and sufficient arguments; The center is prominent, the levels are distinct, the discussion is clear, the structure is rigorous, and the words are fluent.

(3) A complete graduation thesis should include cover, abstract, table of contents, text, references, appendices, acknowledgements, etc. And arrange them in order. (See Annex 3)

1. Cover: Fill in all contents as required, among which the learning center number is the 4th to 6th place of the student number.

2. Abstract: The number of words in the abstract is generally about 300 words. It is a brief statement of the content of the paper, without comments and annotations, and it is a high summary of the content of the article. The main contents include: the content, purpose and importance of this research work; Methods used; Summarize the research results and highlight the author's new views; Research conclusion and its significance. There are no examples, no description of the research process, and no self-evaluation.

The other line after the abstract represents the key words of this paper. Keywords are the subject terms of retrieval, which should use general technical terms that can cover the content of the paper, conform to the subject classification, generally 3-5, and are arranged in descending order according to the extension level of the terms.

3. Content: separate pages, including the first-level and second-level titles, postscript, references, appendices and page numbers of each item in the paper.

4. Text: including introduction, main body and conclusion. Generally, the number of characters is 5000 to 10000 words (the calculation paper can be about 6000 to 8000 words).

As the first part of the text, this paper briefly introduces the background, research achievements and research status at home and abroad, and defines the research purpose, significance and problems to be solved.

The main body of the paper: it is the core part of the full text. In the text, we should process and analyze the materials and data obtained from the investigation, put forward arguments and highlight innovation. The content can be different according to the characteristics of the subject and the nature of the research content. Generally, it includes: theoretical analysis, calculation methods, experimental devices and testing methods, analysis and discussion of experimental results or investigation results, and comparison between this research method and existing research methods. The content requires correct arguments, rigorous reasoning, reliable data, concise words, clear organization and prominent points.

Conclusion: As the last part of the text, it summarizes the main achievements, highlights the innovations and evaluates the main work done with concise words.

5. References: It is an indispensable part of the paper. It can not only reflect the extensive use of materials in graduation thesis work, but also reflect the scientific basis of the manuscript and the author's serious attitude of respecting other people's research results, and also provide readers with the source of relevant information. In the upper right corner of the text of the references cited in sequence, [] should be marked, and the serial number in [] should be the same as that in "References". After the conclusion, references should be published, and academic works and journals closely related to this major should be listed. Citation of other unpublished and published reference materials should also indicate the source of the information. If it is really necessary to explain, it can be explained in the postscript or appendix.

6. Appendix: Any materials that are not suitable for the main body of the paper but are really useful to the paper, such as lengthy formula derivation, repeated or auxiliary data charts, calculation procedures and related explanations, can be compiled into an appendix to the paper. The number of words in the appendix is not included in the number of papers.

7. Acknowledgement: briefly review and summarize the whole graduation thesis work, and express gratitude to the organizations or individuals who helped the graduation thesis work. The content should be as simple and clear as possible, generally about 200 words.
